The purpose of celebrating International White Wand Day is to educate society about the problems and difficulties faced by blind people and to convince that disabled people can also be useful citizens with little attention. The white stick protects blind people from walking, but education, employment, health, and population growth are attention-seeking issues for travel. Blind associations across Pakistan also organize colorful programs in various cities to celebrate the day enthusiastically, with the aim of entertaining blind people as well as informing them of the problems of blind people to all schools of thought and highlighting the ability of blind people So that the problems of the blind can be solved, they can be easily facilitated, and they can play their role in the construction and development of the country and the country. That is why blind people around the world are deeply concerned about this day of October, while the events held on that day are a source of great happiness for the blind. Till 15th October 1999, it was celebrated in full swing throughout the day, and public and private celebrations have been organized, but then the capitalist institutions of the world killed the night on that day and fixed that day as Global Handwashing day, which is aimed at promoting their products in the name of awareness and exposing themselves in social status. At present, the number of blind people worldwide is about 36 million. Experts say that in 2050, this number will triple to 11 crore 5 million. Currently, 11.7 million people in South Asia suffer from eye disease, while in East Asia, the number is 6 million 20 thousand and the population of Southeast Asia is 350,000 affected. While nearly 2 million people in Pakistan are completely blind, the blindness rate here is 1.08, while Pakistan has nearly six million partially blind people, 17% of Pakistan's population suffers from diabetes, which is an important cause of blindness, which has increased the incidence of eye infection, i.e., cataracts in the eye. The institutions that make blind people work in Pakistan are missing, and these special persons do not even have any facility or ease, these people also face difficulties in carrying out day-to-day activities. So we see some private institutions playing a role in this work.
Vision disorder is in some cases of the nature that such persons cannot identify a person standing across the road and are not legally eligible to drive. Governments around the world need to invest in eye diseases and their treatment, as it will not only improve the lives of the affected people but will also enable them to contribute to improving the economy by working. When nature takes one blessing from someone, it awakens many other talents, people who appear to be visually impaired have eye vision. Their hearts are bright, their mind-thinking, and the signs of nature are reflected. By using these individuals' abilities, they can be made an important pillar of society. The need is for the government to play an effective role in making visually impaired but visionary blind people the best part of society by providing them with decent employment or by setting appropriate stipends.
