How was this BGMI discovered

Fans were more than overjoyed when their favorite battle royale game returned to the platform as Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGM I) with little to no changes in the overall core mechanics of the game. It would be a massive understatement to suggest PUBG Mobile was a monumental success – as it single-handedly gave rise to the popularity of competitive gaming on mobile and cultivated a healthy esports scene.

So when players finally got their hands on BGM I – it was a moment of joy and pure elation. However, just because PUBG Mobile was banned in the country – it did not mean that the game stopped receiving frequent updates to mechanics alongside other quality-of-life changes.

The layout/sensitivity sharing feature that will allow players to freely share their settings with one another. This is certainly going to help players get better as teammates, as they will learn to adapt to each other’s play styles better.

The Spike Trap sounds intriguing to say the least, mainly because there is a rare chance a player might be effective with it – but it sure sounds like a lot of fun. The saboteurs in the community will certainly try their best to trap players by laying a bunch of these all over the map.

BGM I parent company, Kraft on, has planned tournaments for BGM I this year, with the prize pool for the recently concluded BMPS (Battlegrounds Mobile Pro series) season 1 being set at ₹ 2 crore. The 2022 will see 4 pro and semi-pro tournaments (BMO C, recently concluded BMPS Season 1, BGI S Season 2 and BMPS Season 2) featuring cash prizes of ₹ 6 crores.

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGM I) claims it has crossed 100 million registered users in India. Developed by South Korean company Kraft on, the free-to-play battle royale game was released for the public in July last year. Since then, the game has received constant updates with new features. The popular PUBG Mobile, which was banned in the country since 2020, was resurrected in the form of Battlegrounds Mobile India. Initially, BGM I allowed players to carry over their progress and data from PUBG Mobile as well. Kraft on is planning new tournaments for BGM I this year.

Kraft on Friday said it has surpassed 100 million registered users in the country, since its launch in July 2021. “BGM I's first year has been a resounding success, with millions of players joining to experience the game. We have brought in major tournaments, Indian themed collaborations, and celebrated India centric events with the community with a goal in curating a gameplay unique to our Indian users,” Chauhan Kim, the CEO of Kraft on, said in a prepared statement.

The company plans on organizing four pro and semi-pro BGM I tournaments like BMO C, BMPS Season 1, BGI S Season 2 and BMPS Season 2 in 2022 for gamers. Cumulatively, the events will offer a cash prize of Rs. 6 crores. The developer says it had invested over $10 million (roughly Rs. 79 crore) in India to improve the local gaming, esports, as well as entertainment and IT industries.
