How Vitamin D is important for our body?

Vitamin D is essential for our body. Although the body gets a sufficient amount of vitamin D from sunlight, it can sometimes be deficient.    Vitamin D deficiency is also compounded by eating soy foods such as tofu and hidden soybeans. These items are readily available at supermarkets. Soy products are an excellent option for people who are allergic to milk.

However, be sure to read the label before buying yogurt, as most of these fortified versions of yogurt are spiced, which means the sugar content is very high. We can also gain Vitamin D from sun rays. Every living thing on this Earth should stay for at least 10 minutes daily in sunrays. This could help in stronger bones and muscles.

There is also no good evidence to support the use of vitamin D for COVID-19.
