We attract circumstances into our lives through our thoughts, feelings, and emotions, which act as powerful magnets. The way we think determines whether these circumstances are positive or negative!
This is the sixth article in a seven-part series on the fundamental seven Universal Laws. The sixth law, also known as the Law of Attraction, is the subject of this article.
The Law of Attraction, to put it succinctly, states that our predominant thoughts attract the things in our lives. To put it another way, exactly what we will attract back into our lives is the abundance, solutions, and positive outcomes that we put our primary focus on.Nice!
However, there is a perilous side to this law: if we focus on lack, issues, and undesirable outcomes, we will attract them.
Earl Nightingale is probably familiar to you.Earl, who is regarded as the founder of self-help today, recorded a record titled "The Strangest Secret" in the middle of the 1950s while working in the insurance industry. This record was made to give his employees some training while he was away on business. Earl's most bizarre secret was simple:
"We become what we most often think about!"
This "secret" serves as a constant reminder that we must learn to control our thoughts and is in perfect agreement with the Law of Attraction. In all honesty, the only things in life over which we have complete control are our own thoughts. The difficulty lies in maintaining control over them while preventing them from spreading negativity.
You only need to look at your own life as an illustration of the power of the Law of Attraction. Have you ever experienced a day like that when everything seems to be going wrong? We have all experienced those days, from the chilly shower to the toast that burned, the traffic ticket on the way to work, the unhappy boss, and the difficult customer. Everything begins with how we think. Our thinking designs draw in the primary negative insight. We are then put in a negative frame of mind as a result of this experience, which helps us attract more "bad" situations.Things only get worse the more we dwell on our "bad day"!
The arrangement is to change our casing of reference. Change the negative feelings into something positive or at least neutral. Find the lesson in every circumstance.Another great way to shift our perspective is to learn to laugh at ourselves. Things will quickly begin to turn around if we break the negative cycle.
What You Can Do There are two actions you can take right away to help you use the incredible power of the Law of Attraction:
1.Consider this for yourself: Do I concentrate on Abundance or Lack, or, to put it another way, "Am I problem-focused or solution-focused?" If you answered "Lack/Problems," then you should immediately alter your perspective. Make positive and solution-focused changes to your habits and thoughts.
2.Accept full responsibility for your life's events, whether good or bad. Because you have attracted both good and bad things to yourself, taking responsibility will enable you to choose to alter your perspective.
Though it won't solve all of your problems on its own, positive thinking is just one of a number of things we can do to get us on the path to living the life we want.
