HOW TO WRITE AND PROCEED FOR AN ARTICLE?

Articles:

An article is a piece of writing which we usually find printed in magazines or newspapers. In newspapers, you can find newspaper reports in the form of articles, or sometimes they're people who write articles on certain issues that the country is dealing with. In magazines also we can see different types of articles. There is a slight difference between the articles that are published in magazines or newspapers. Because you find them every day on airing newspapers, there's a slight change in the format. I'll let you know how it is, So Let's first find out the format of an article.

Format For Article Writing:

1) Heading:

  • The heading is the first thing of an article that comes to our mind.
  • The Heading of an article should be written in the center of the page.
  • Heading should not be or might not be a complete sentence.
  • Use three to four words for heading. Do not elaborate it too much (or) it should not be very long.

2) Byline:

  • The next one after heading should be byline.
  • Byline is actually the name of the person who has written the article.
  • In the case of newspaper reports, Byline also consists of the date and also the place.
  • In magazines, The name of the person who has written the article is more than enough for a byline.
  • Byline can be on the right-hand side, or it can be on the left-hand side on the top of the page.
  • Byline also be at the end of the article.

So, there are three places where you can write the byline for an article, which means you have choices. You have to choose only one place to write the byline.

3) Content:

Content also has different parts. First is the opening or introductory paragraph, and then you develop the thought, and then you start writing the content with given facts and figures. Then ultimately, you end the article by giving a conclusion to it or a solution to a problem. So this is actually the format. There is nothing much to be discussed here because there are only three things to be kept in mind one is Heading, another is Byline, and another one is Content.
