(1) It is closely related to reality. The symbol system must map the reality homogeneously. When we see symbols that are systematically arranged, we need to be able to recognize reality. If we respond to an unreliable trading plan, this condition is not met and the business plan fails.

It should fully capture all the details and all the symbols available to the system. Let’s go back to the business plan: the business plan should contain all the data available - and all the techniques known to process them. It can securely establish a hierarchy of priorities and preferences - but it should provide all the possibilities and choose it only with good reasons to do so.
(7) Symbol systems must contain links to other, related, symbol systems. These links may be formal or informal. Returning to business planning: There is no point in creating a business plan that ignores geographical, macroeconomic, and marketing contexts. Is it safe to invest in this sector? What laws and regulations are in force in that area, and to what extent can they vary? What is competition, and how can it be neutralized or coordinated? These external variables are all external symbol systems. Some of them (e.g. laws, customs, taxes) are closely and formally associated with the business. Some are unofficially linked: alternative products, emerging technologies, ethical and environmental considerations. The business plan echoes in the minds of the readers and should get the response: "How true !!!"
(8) The symbol system must have a clear hierarchy. Attempts have been made to invent and use hierarchical signaling systems - and there are. All failed, and formally or unofficially led to the formation of the hierarchy. The professional term is "utility function". This is not a theoretical demand. Utility functions determine most investment decisions in today's complex financial markets. The business plan writer (s) should clearly state what they want and what they want most, what the ultimate need is, and what is best. (9) The symbol system must provide (useful) purpose and reflect the effort to be successful.
