Today, there are a lot of options for getting different hairstyles and different looks. Most people are using computer programs to make their hair extension at home. The first thing that we need to do is to make sure that our skin is clean before starting off to apply our hair extensions. The company should let us know when they will deliver our samples so that we can avoid any potential infections or allergies and keep our faces moisturized. It is recommended that you wash your hands after handling all your hair at least once after every two weeks. The type of hair extension that you will be using is usually copper hair extensions which is why it is important to know the amount of time that it will take for the product to dissolve. If we have an extended trial period, then we are allowed to change our hair extensions which makes the process easier and quicker. And finally, it is recommendable to follow proper care tips when treating our hair; otherwise, it can damage it for later use. We should ask about how much shampoo we use before washing our hair because we don't have control over this until we start washing our hair. Now, let's go back to basics. For beginners, this tutorial will show you how we can apply hair extensions easily using six steps.
Step 1: Cut your hairs
First, we need to cut our first hair sample. Here is the photo of my hair sample. This product is soft because it has been carefully shaped to get its shape, we need to leave some space by cutting our top and bottom ends.
Step 2: Add Water Or Oil
Next step is to add water or oil to our first hair sample. Just like we did in Step 1, we had to cut our sides to obtain the shape of our hair. Because the bottle has not been opened yet and still contains 50ml liquid, we need to pour it into the tray, and after pouring it into the tray, we need to remove the plastic ring that was in the box. Using a knife, run over the outside edge of the tray on your side till you cut out the hair. In addition, we also need to remove the plastic ring, which holds our hair's shape in the box. Run the scissors down inside the box and cut out a loop from the end of the loop. Then, it is recommended that you allow the loops to rest on your floor as much as possible so that it doesn't burn while allowing it to cool. Leave it to dry before clipping off the ends to prevent breakage. There is nothing wrong with leaving them to dry because you may have some strands lying on your floor, but if they burn, then you can always replace them. Also, you can place a wet cloth over the loops.
Step 3: Heat Up Trays
After carefully cutting out the hair, you might notice some bits of hair left on the board. Now that we have cut our own hair, we need to heat up trays so that they are perfectly coated by the chemicals added in the boxes. But, we also have to remove the plastic ring which protects our hair from UV rays. So, you need to open the box and place the plastic ring in the trash and shake it well. A couple of times, I have been thinking that cleaning our hair trays was unnecessary, but I do believe that it serves a major part in keeping bacteria away from our hairs. Now, the last step is to seal the trays. Open the bin and set the plastic ring aside for 5 minutes while you wait for them to turn yellow. During this time, you can pick them out without worrying about damaging them. Once the plastic ring is completely blackened, use a wet cloth and gently wipe it down to repair your damaged plastic ring hair extensions.
Step 4: Seal With Nails
Now, the most difficult step is to seal your hair extensions with nails. First, we need to find out the length of our own hair by placing ourselves in front of a mirror. Measure out exactly how long our hair is, so that we know about the width of our hair. Next, we need to measure the distance we want to travel in our hair extensions. On the tape, mark the points where we would like to thread the extensions and the distance that we would like to travel each day. Then, we need to put some Rubbermaid around our hair so that we will prevent our extensions from drying out. Place your head over the nail holder and press down firmly onto the nail until the nails broke out on both ends. Let the nails dry out before putting you extensions on. Lastly, you have to attach the extensions to the hooks. All these tasks can be performed over the counter to save time.
Step 5: Wash With Conditioner
After doing everything that you do in the past, the next step we need to change is to wash our hair with conditioner, as mentioned above. Usually, the conditioner will have a lot of foam in it; so, we need to spread it on our hair in equal amounts and mix all the ingredients. But, before we do this, we need to wash our hair so that we can remove its natural oils. Also, we need to wash the brush so that it does not stick to us if we wash our hair too hard or too fast. In the end, it is recommended that we wash our hair with shampoo two or three times in a week, and we should repeat the process as needed.
