How to Win Over an Enemy?

How to Win Over an Enemy

There is someone in our lives we want to defeat, want to move on from him/her, or want to take revenge on. There is definitely someone, who steals limelight from you, and in people’s thoughts, maybe you will go after him/her.

Enemies can exist in a variety of fields and occupations, including sports, business, family, friends, school, colleges, and many others.

All combatants are not the same, and their reasons for becoming your rival are also not identical. If you want to win over your enemy, you should consider some points.

1.figure out how he/she became your enemy and the origin of your controversy.

2. Compare yourself to your competitor.

3. Judge your behavior and habits.

4. Finally, you realize you really want to retaliate against your adversary.

Most probably, you have enemies because of your jealousy of someone who looks or does much better than you. Maybe you always wanted to be more valuable than your rivals. In my experience, I also felt jealous when someone else took someone’s attention more than me. Sometimes your enemy knows that you don’t like him/her, and you can’t beat them, so they make fun of you about this in front of others.

In the next case, he/she becomes your enemy because they have more potential than you do, and you feel numb. Try to understand this topic with an example of my own occurrence. I’m interested in sports and play cricket daily. I considered myself one of the best players, but one day, somebody came and started giving much better performances than me. I always wanted to defeat him, but most of the time I was defeated. So, what was going on inside me that caused these schisms? The answer is my expectation that is culpable for having a foe. I expected that people would appraise me most. Second is my haughtiness and ego. I considered myself the best, and I had the belief that I could conquer anyone.

In some cases, somebody did some injustice to you, or they snatched your rights. Anyone can be this kind of rival, like family members, neighbors, relatives, colleagues, classmates, and many more.

After figuring out how you’ve created disputes with your opponent, carry on to the next thing called "comparing". Always try to correlate yourself with your opponents. Figure out, who is more gifted. If your rival is more accomplished, you need to work hard to match his level.

Move on to the next point, and try to examine yourself also. Maybe you’re the main reason for disputes with people. The next person is not always wrong, you can be erroneous also. Maybe any bad habit of yours makes you an enemy to others.

So how should you face these complications? If you make enemies with your jealousy, ego, and pride, you should quit the race. If you have made these kinds of enemies, go make them friends. When they meet, give a smile and try to talk to them as friends. If somebody feels jealous of you or is angry about something, go hug them. Never try to win a conversation with another; let them win. If you’re rivaling with someone who is more talented than you, so you need to learn skills from him\her, make them your friend. Never try to take revenge for somebody else’s bad behavior; just ignore these things. Learn to be silent because silence is the best answer to your rivals. You should choose the path of love, and kindness. That’s how you win over your enemy.

In some cases, your opponents are oppressive. If somebody teases you or harasses you, then never be afraid to oppose injustice. Never quit fighting with the culprit. Remember, the truth always wins.
