Babies can begin eating solid meals at six months old in addition to formula or breast milk. The following foods are suitable for 6-month-old babies:
1. Pureed fruits: Serve avocados, bananas, apples, pears, peaches, or pureed bananas. Increase the quantity gradually after starting with a smaller one.
2. Pureed vegetables: Serve purees like butternut squash, carrots, peas, and sweet potatoes. Simmer them until tender, then pure them until they form a creamy paste.
