Weight Gain
I find myself more than once struggling to keep up with how much weight I have gained over the last couple of months. In my case, I haven't lost that much as compared to my body mass index (BMI). On different days, it has been difficult to notice a slight difference in weight and my diet and exercise routines have also helped me deal with my gaining weight. But on some days, my stomach pains, and I feel like I'm bloated and sluggish since I didn't do anything strenuous. It makes things worse when I see people around me who are struggling with their weight, as they can tell me more about what I should be doing to lose weight and get rid of this weight. I would like to share here some tips and advice that I came up with to help me gain back some of my lost weight
First and foremost, eating healthy is extremely important to your weight gain and reduction of fat. Healthy foods are also packed with nutrients and fiber which play an important role in digestion. You can make some small changes to your diet for losing weight. Take a look at these food items that you can add or remove from your plate. If you're feeling exhausted, try moving your plate to a position that allows your hips to do a little bit more movement. Try eating smaller plates and cutting out unhealthy foods like chips and drinks. Do not forget to pack your plate with enough servings of vegetables, protein, and other healthy choices. You’ll notice you’ll lose a lot of weight if you reduce the amount that you eat. A good weight loss strategy is by eating small portions of low-calorie foods for long periods. Your body will release insulin, resulting in fat burning. To increase the metabolism in your pancreas, make sure that you eat lots of water and complex carbohydrates. When you eat sugary or fatty foods, you’ll release insulin spikes in response to that. This will reduce your muscle mass, making you tired on the inside. To avoid all of those insulin spikes and burnout problems, just eat small amounts of sugar-free beverages that won’t cause hunger.
After eating your meals, take time to do cardio a few times every day. Doing cardio burns calories quickly, so try to use those calories to compensate for your lack of eating. Be a regular player in cardio-based games. Get going with one of the many apps available. There are numerous free online games that you can download and play on your phone. For example, if you’re playing football, then it’s better to run or swim instead of kicking the ball or trying to score touchdowns. The motivation to stay active will keep you going when you want to give up or if you start feeling too lazy to exercise anymore. Some of these sports can come with added rewards. An extra point or the chance at scoring points can become a motivating factor to keep going. Remember to do moderate weights and bodyweight training. Don’t push hard because you think you need to; you need to work yourself until you finish. Use resistance bands, jumping rope, stationary bikes, or crunches if necessary. Make sure that you do something which requires more energy expenditure. Start with 20 minutes of light exercise a week and go from there. No matter what kind of activity you choose, keep up with it for two weeks before decreasing your activity level if needed. Just by following simple rules like having 30 minutes of low-intensity exercise a day or walking 30 minutes five times a week, you’ll soon realize just how easy life can be if you have the right mindset. Remember to drink plenty of water to help your cells function properly. Since working out can sometimes trigger bloating, have you ever thought about why? Drinking lots of water helps keep your pee clear. So try drinking 1 cup of warm water every morning before breakfast. It's as easy as that!
Lastly, don’t forget that the last thing you do in your workout isn’t as important as the first one. Exercises that are too hard will give you pain and give your muscles trouble. So the number of exercises and repetitions is more important than your workouts. At the end of each workout, stretch well. I recommend that you try yoga at least for 10-20 minutes twice a week. Yoga helps calm your mind. It helps you relax and even helps you sleep better at night. Plus, it boosts your mood. It’s important to spend time with someone else during the day to achieve maximum results on your own. Also, plan to leave at least 30 minutes after your workouts so that you don’t spend time thinking and focus only on your fitness goals. These activities will allow you to recharge your batteries and relax your mind once again.
I hope these suggestions prove useful to you in achieving that elusive goal of losing fat. I am happy to share what I found out. Happy weight gain and good luck in your journey!
