Wearing a balsamic vinaigrette is no secret guard made by an unknown celebrity or gourmet chef. It is easy to make a vinaigrette that tastes good, and is healthy for you. Wearing an oil and vinegar salad or vinaigrette recipes can be done by those of us who have never been to a culinary center.
Times have changed dramatically as Seven Sea's Italian Dressing and Wishbone's Green Goddess sat on every store shelf as a base for salad dressing. Do you remember when we thought "Original Ranch" was a major development for our salad dressing repertoire, and the bacon pieces bought in the store became a milestone? Then mixed spring vegetables were obtained, and pine nuts were considered healthy and… just a moment; Do you still buy bottled salad dressings?
Our quest for “less money” and “healthier vegetables” in our diet, has led us in a daunting way, looking for that hard way to ‘wear a healthy salad.’ Low carbohydrates, low cholesterol, and “healthy for everything you carry,” have become a necessity. So what is it, that we should, (or even better) be 'allowed' to put on top of our salad that is right for you?
Today we go down the aisle to dress up a salad at a delicious restaurant and see delicious condiments from the ground up to eye level. Widespread organic, sauces, and accoutrements. Wine vinegar, grated oil, and vinegar are flavored with vinegar. Some have been approved by celebrities. Others are seen on television. Some are made by celebrities, (yes, of course). Some are made on a remote island, somewhere in a strange and strange place. (Continued.) We shake the heads of Modena consortium, Spanish Spanish, and California Napa Balsamic vinegars. A big question mark appears on our heads as we look at Aceto, Traditionale, aged, and Special Blends. We groan, "What has God done?" The founder, Alexander Graham Bell, could not convey our unbelievable thoughts more accurately.
Wearing a fat salad with simple vinegar, why does the degree of difficulty indicate? It is not necessary. A simple vinaigrette dressing recipe can be easily made, from simple ingredients, healthy to you, and actually very tasty.
The main ingredients in the dressing are vinaigrette, classic balsamic vinegar, and excellent olive oil. You do not need to spend a lot of money on balsamic. Two excellent balsamic vinegar with low value, Caroliva Reserve balsamic and Masserie di Sant'Eramo balsamic. (Those other vinegar are under $ 8, ... don't worry).
Your dressing of a balsamic vinaigrette will go well with other dishes besides salads, too. The balsamic vinaigrette stands out with fresh lobsters and scallops, artichokes and asparagus. The balsamic dressing also goes well with fresh sliced tomatoes or mashed vegetables and greens.
The balsamic dressing recipe can be customized to your individual preference. The usual dosages for dressing a balsamic vinaigrette are one third of balsamic vinegar in three parts olive oil, and a spice of salt, pepper and Dijon mustard. Rule 6 is one teaspoon of mustard on each part of a salad dressing cup. The balsamic vinegar flavor is rich and powerful, and with a little olive oil you may want to use one quart of vinegar in four or five olive oil. Other herbs and spices will enhance the balsamic vinaigrette, such as chives and sage. Even a well-ground ginger root will add zest to your outfit. It’s all a question of how you want your finished dress to taste.
A simple Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing recipe (you can make it yourself)
INGREDIENTS
3 tablespoons old balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 clove of garlic, peeled and crushed with a garlic press
3/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
Salt and fresh pepper, to taste
Use a blender to mix the ingredients. It will produce a larger vinaigrette dress. One serving will be worth 2 to 3 tablespoons dressing. One cup should easily suffice 6 to 8 servings of mixed green salad. Refrigerate and store in a sealed container. Mix well before serving.
