HOW TO USE THE MAGIC OF COLOR AND THE STRENGTH OF BRANDING IN MARKETING? COCA-COLA CASE STUDY
UNIQUE CASE STUDY
According to Coca-Cola, a unique case study story has been brought to India to inspire Indian entrepreneurs to make more progress in business and create their place, to spread the fame of Indian entrepreneurs worldwide.
In 2005 researcher Reed Montague experimented. In that experiment, they wanted to see what the difference between Coca-Cola and Pepsi soft drinks is? And which soft drink will people prefer?
First of all, they gave some unlabelled 2 bottles to some people. In which one bottle contained Cocacola and the other bottle contained Pepsi. And those people were fitted with an fMRI scanner.
Tell people to recognize the difference between the soft drinks in those two bottles. But no one could recognize the difference between these two soft drinks. Moreover, there was no difference in the fMRI scanner.
Then they did another experiment, in which the same people were given to test the original bottles of Coca-Cola and Pepsi. It was seen that there was no difference in the FMRI scanner when people took the Pepsi test.
But when people took the Cocacola test, there was a big difference in the fMRI scanner. At that time, the researcher thought that maybe there is something in the recipe of Cocacola.
Then they did the third experiment, in which he exchanged both bottles, i.e., he put Cocacola in the bottle of Pepsi and Pepsi in the bottle of Cocacola and asked both the bottles to be tested by the same people. But this time, whatever It was like blowing your mind…
When people took the test of Pepsi bottle (which contained Cocacola), at that time, no difference was noticed in the fMRI scanner…
But the time people took the Cocacola bottle (which contained Pepsi )..there was a lot of difference in the FMRI scanner ...
From this, Reed Montague understood that whatever reading of the fMRI scanner is not from the recipe of that soft drink, but not from the bottle, but only and only because of the red color in the Cocacola logo this difference in the fMRI scanner was shown because red was more attractive to those people.
Everyone was shocked to see this, everyone was shocked ... !!!
And then Cocacola's brand used red in every one of its commercials. What can you learn from this? So ...
No matter how good your business model is, it is important to know what the customer experience is when they take advantage of your product or service.
Types of colors have a certain kind of experience. That experience has to be constantly brought to the notice of the customer so that the impression is created in the customer's mind about that brand.
ANYTHING CAN BE SOLD
Anything can be sold in the market; all you need is the skill to sell and hard work to prepare.
Skill, goods, knowledge, information, study, service, you can sell anything.
People need everything; if not, you need to create. But you have to be more discriminating with the help you render toward other people.
You can even sell stone clay; just let people know that it is important to you. Say it is auspicious to keep rare-shaped stones from far away in the house; people will keep stones in the house. The soil is special, and it is important to keep it in the house. Say, people will buy soil by kg.
INDIRECT MARKETING
The age is for indirect marketing.
Making people need something and then preparing them for their product is not new to the market. But in this, the study is done only at the top level. Ordinary entrepreneurs are far from such marketing. Selling what you consume is the standard pattern of marketing, but by creating the need for what you don't consume, this type of selling takes you to the top of the business world.
Take a simple example. A year ago, you used to have 1 GB of internet per month. Now? Losing 1 GB per day. The reason? The site you use the most has inadvertently increased your usage by adding videos, photos, ads. Companies no longer need you to pack as much internet as you need, but you need to use the internet as much as possible. If the companies reduce the usage of tomorrow, our life will become difficult.
They have used indirect marketing to increase internet usage. And this is not a mistake at all. This is part of the business. First, create the need and then bring your product to the market in large numbers. This marketing is done in different ways, from the local level to the national, international level.
Use new ways
create your own sales study and work accordingly. Develop sales skills, study new marketing concepts, create your innovative marketing methods; business is not difficult.
Entrepreneurs who implement innovative concepts are always successful. .....
