Although Starlink is still young, Starlink satellite internet is available for testing in limited parts of the US, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Australia, UK, and several other countries. Starlink is currently the only satellite internet provider in the US, which means it is the only provider of unlimited, full-speed data that can be moved once you have reached the data cap.

But hold on to your Starlink is still in beta
Before you sign up for Starlink, remember that Starlink is still in beta. Since the Starlink constellation is not yet fully built, there are limited availability. Also, beta testers may have lower speeds than what Starlink will eventually deliver.
In addition to the limited availability, periodic withdrawals are common. Remember - Elon Musk himself called it "a better beta system than anything else." There just aren't enough Starlink satellites to bring endless connections around the world.

Although Starlink launches many satellites at breakneck speed, it will take some time until the constellation is complete and all North Americans can access the ongoing (uninterrupted) Starlink service.
Can I really find Starlink anywhere?
Although available in 14 countries so far, Starlink is not yet available in all parts of these countries. To date, Starlink is only available in selected locations.
On the Starlink website, the company warns potential customers to accurately evaluate their viewing industry. Starlink satellite dishes need an outdoor display and a clear viewing area to hold signals from satellites flying in the sky. You need to have a cone-shaped, completely unobstructed 100-degree view above the center of the Starlink container. Because of these limitations, Starlink may not be found in deep ravines, wooded areas, or near buildings.
Starlink introduces updates
The launch of Starlink has grown rapidly since December 2021 when Starlink received $855 million in FCC funding as part of the Rural Digital Opportunity Fund. SpaceX delivers 50 or more satellites per month via the Starlink constellation.
How many Starlink customers?
Starlink recently announced that the company has orders from 500,000 customers, although there is no word on how many of those orders have been filled.
Can I become the latest Starlink customer?
To find out if you can find Starlink internet in your area, you will need to go to the Starlink website and type in your home and email addresses. You will be notified when and when the service is launched in your area. We, the authors of SatelliteInternet.com, have subscribed to the March wait list but have not yet received an invitation, so you may or may not receive the service immediately at your discretion.
Currently, Starlink offers the best service between latitudes of 45 to 53 degrees (with a few exceptions), at which point the constellation is extremely dense.
Where to find satellite internet now
Starlink may not reach your area for a few months, and even then it may be crowded. How, then, can you get satellite internet now? Your best photo with Viasat or HughesNet. Sure, sign up for Starlink waiting list (if you have $499 to give up), but be aware that it may take six months or more to "be selected" to be a Starlink reviewer.
