How To Use Metro Online for Grocery Shopping

Jotting down the list of grocery items, make a 3 hours trip to your nearest grocery store, gathering each item in your trolley, and then comes the check-marking process against each item of the list. Loading the grocery in your car trunk and then unloading at your doorstep. All of a sudden, you realize you forgot something at the store. 

Take a deep breath and say goodbye to this old method of grocery shopping. Just sit back, and within a few clicks/ taps, you are done. Even you can select the delivery time for yourselves. What can be more convenient than this one?

 

 

So let me elaborate on all that needs to be done with the metro online shopping method:

5. On the left, you may find all the categories to make it easier to find the desired products.

 

6. For example, you start with meat and fruits. Go to the fresh food category, and you will see the subcategories for fresh fruits, vegetables and the individual categories for beef, mutton, and chicken.

Please select your desired category, and click on it. So we go by an example of fresh fruits, click the option, and you will be directed to the fruits section.

The prices of each of the fruit are mentioned underneath the respective fruit. If you need to select those red apples, you will have to click the button "Add to cart." You can increase or decrease the quantity by the "+," -" as you desire.

 

 

7. So, I will continue to add some other fruits for my kids. And then, from there onwards, towards the top left corner, you can see a tab of the home, which will take us back to the starting page so we can proceed with other categories.

8. The other way around for directly adding your desired product this store offers is through search. There is a search bar at the top of the page. Just type the product name, and it will search the related results. Let's say I need chips, but specifically Lays Wavy, I will have to type "Lays Wavy" in the search bar and press enter.

 

All the related Lays items available in the store came up in the results. In the same way, as we added fruits, we will add them to our cart.

 

I have added a couple of more items, and they can be shown in the cart at the top right corner.

9.By Clicking the cart icon, you will take to your cart the actual trolley you have filled up with your grocery. 

If you are done with your list of items, you might check out from the right section. 

11.Once you are done with the one-time registration, they will ask for your shipment information.

 

In this form, decide your delivery day; the best thing about them is that you get the option to select the day and timing, then on the left pane, enter your address. Then click the yes button as highlighted. Once you enter your address, you don't need to re-enter each time. By changing your address, you can add your address.

 

 

Then enter your contact number and press save and continue.

Now Finally you are done with the one-time hassle, of adding your shipment information. Add some comments if needed, and click on proceed to pay.
