Every (one)
Rules 1: every + singular
Every is a determiner. We normally use it before a singular noun. If the noun is a subject, its verb is also singular.
Every একটি determiner, যেটা আমরা সাধারণত singular noun এর পরে ব্যবহার করি। যদি noun টি একটি Subject হয়, তাহলে Verb টি সর্বদা singular হয় ।
Example :
I see her every day.
Every room is being used.
Rules 2:
Every one of
We use every one of before a pronoun or a determiner (for example 'the', my, these). The pronoun or noun is plural, but a following verb is singular.
আমরা pronoun ও determiner এর পূর্বে every one of ব্যবহার করতে করি। যদি noun বা pronoun টি plural হয় তাহলে, তার পরবর্তী verb টি singular হয় ।
Every one of us/you/them (+ singular verb) every one of + determiner + plural noun (+ singular verb)
Example:
His books are wonderful. I’ve read every one o f them.
Every one o f the children was crying.
Rules 3 :
Every one without a noun, We can drop a noun and use every one alone, if the meaning is clear.
আমরা noun ছাড়াও every one ব্যবহার করতে পারি, যদি মানে টি পরিষ্কার থাকে।
Example :
His books are great. Every one's worth reading.
Rules 4:
Negative structures to negate every, we normally use not every.
Every দিয়ে negative বাক্য তৈরী করতে নোট every ব্যবহার করা হয়।
Example :
Not every kind of bird can fly. (More natural than every kind o f bird cannot fly).
Rules 5:
Every + plural noun Every is used before a plural noun in expressions that refer to intervals.
বিরতি প্রকাশ বা উল্লেখ করতে, আমরা plural noun এর পূর্বে every ব্যবহার করতে পারি।
Example :
I see her every few days. There’s a meeting every six weeks.
She had to stop and rest every two or three steps.
Rules 6 :
Everybody, everyone, everything and everywhere are used with singular verbs, like every.
Everybody, everyone, everything, এবং everywhere, every এর মত singular noun দিয়ে ব্যবহার করা হয়।
Example :
Everybody has gone home, (not Everybody have..........)
Everything I like is either illegal, immoral or fattening.
I found that everywhere was closed.
When possessives and pronouns refer back to everybody/everyone, they can usually be either singular (more formal) or plural (less formal). Sometimes only a plural word makes sense.
যখন possessives and pronoun, everybody, everyone কে উল্লেখ করে, তখন singular বা plural ব্যবহার করা।
Compare:
Has everybody got his or her ticket? (more formal)
Has everybody got their tickets? (less formal)
When everybody had finished eating, the waiters took away their plates. (not.............. his or her plate.)
Note that everyone (= 'everybody') does not mean the same as every one (which can refer to things as well as people).

Every day is an adjective meaning 'ordinary', ‘usual’, ‘routine’. It is not the same as the adverbial expression every day.
Every day একটি adjective যার মানে হল সাধারণ। এটা adverbial expression, every day এর মত ব্যবহার করা হয় না।
