Clean your laptop physically:-
It would help if you cleaned your laptop to make it a playground because dirt and dust can reduce air leaks and cause laptop heat. This can cause poor performance while playing. For better performance of my gaming laptop, I use a suitable laptop cleaning kit. You can buy it from any online store.
Direct X updated
Make sure the Direct X is up to date. Go to the menu and type “dxdiag” to view the Direct X type that is important for playing the game. It is best to use windows update to get faster performance about your game-related hardware.
Updating your all drivers
Several operating systems for different laptops are based on the same hardware and formats, such as Windows, Macs, and Linux. So updating your drivers is essential for any product device you have, especially a GPU.
Some drivers are also related to your gaming, so update your drivers immediately after the update comes.
Installing higher Ram
Many games, such as GTA, Fifa, Need for speed, etc., require high ram for usage to run smoothly. I advised you to have 8 or more than 8 Gb ram on your laptop. It will work alot in your gaming experience.
Display settings
You can always create your own display settings and play preferences; even run old games with higher settings. While your GPU memory is limited, you can choose to configure it to monitor system performance.
The thing to keep in mind is high exposure can greatly consume RAM affecting the frame rate. If you know how to upgrade a laptop to play, then you can adjust the video settings for each game as it plays.
Disable automatic updates for games and windows
Unless you're not allowed to disable windows updates permanently, then you can do other things like keeping your laptop offline. Already install windows updates as soon as they appear.
From the latest versions of laptops, you can block updates for 35 days. But you can't completely disconnect from the internet when using a gaming laptop. So you have to install updates for better gaming performance.
Activating game mode on windows
Activating Windows 10 in-game mode is easy as win 10 already has the Xbox app with screen recording, streaming, and game mode features. Additionally, running your game by playing can be as simple as turning on game mode.
To activate the game mode, go to the Xbox panel by pressing "WIN + G" to notify the box to check yes. Now, this is your game box.
