HOW TO UNDERSTAND THE INNER GAME OF SELLING AND ACHIEVE ALL YOUR SALES GOALS?
This article shares ideas, methods, strategies, and techniques for salespeople to sell faster and easier than ever before. It's a recommended article for all sales professionals.
GAME OF SELLING
Don't wait for products to be requested from off your hand. Decide how many (and how much) you want to sell (earn) first and work at it, that's when things will work together to make it happen.
I believe if salespeople focus on getting a little bit better in key areas of selling, it accumulates into “an extraordinary difference in income.” These seven key result areas, or KRAs, are:
- Prospecting(reaching new customers)
- Building Rapport (becoming their friend)
- Identifying Needs (empathy)
- Presenting (showing how it works)
- Answering Objections (Q&A session)
- Closing the Sale (Good pricing)
- Getting Resales and Referrals (Inviting distributors).
SALESPERSON SELF CONCEPT
Salesperson Self Concept is also very important. It plays a significant role in all the KRA's above.
For example, If you have a positive self-concept about prospecting, it will be no problem for you.
Self-concept also impacts how much a salesperson makes. “If you see yourself as a $500,000-a-year person, you’ll continually engage in behaviors that keep your income at $500,000.”
But if you “reset your financial thermostat,” you can adjust your self-concept of worth and the value of your work. RESET YOUR FINANCIAL THERMOSTAT.
"A successful person thinks successful thoughts."
HOW TO SET AND ACHIEVE ALL YOUR SALES GOALS
For most people setting goals is not the problem, but achieving the goal. This section of the article encourages all Sales Persons who want to achieve wealth to Set goals and also work to achieve them. For example, a salesperson must know exactly how much they want to earn in a year to focus on sales activities.
Areas to focus on when setting goals are:
Annual income goal -
How much do you want to make in the next 12 months?
Annual sales goals -
How much will you have to sell to achieve your income goal?
Monthly and weekly goals -
Break down your income and monthly sales goals into weekly sales and income goals.
Daily sales goals -
If your annual income goal is $500,000, divide that number by 52 to get the number you need to average per week. From there, it’s easy to divide that number by day to learn exactly what you need to earn.
Activity goals -
Once you know how much you need to make every day, you can determine what activities to take to reach that goal. When you accurately record these numbers for a set period, you should be able to accurately predict which activities will make you successful.
Personal and family goals -
Determine why you do what you do, and you’ll tap into immeasurable motivation to push harder and smarter.
I recommend you write down 100 goals you’d like to accomplish in the years ahead. By writing them down, you’ll begin to visualize yourself achieving them. These goals don’t have to be big. If you visualize a prospect responding to your pitch in a positive, enthusiastic way, you’ll approach your meetings with more excitement and a successful attitude.
If you will be committed to writing out your sales goals give a smiling face and if you think it doesn't make sense show a red alert.
Some people spend their time liking articles on LinkedIn and Facebook but never have any care in the world to implement what they like. Poverty starts from the mind, a mind that just likes things but never implements those things.
If you want to progress, bring something out from that degree or keep that degree and start thinking better than someone without a degree. There's no white-collar Job anywhere.
Be prepared to get your hands dirty and work like an ox for your business.
