How to turn your personal blog into an online business

 You are probably already intrigued by the success of some people who have come to have very popular blogs, both in Bangladesh and abroad. Many of them probably did not even intend to have so much notoriety and yet, their content seems to have gone further than they expected.

 In the beginning, the blog was probably just a creative need that, over time, turned into a source of monetization. There are various famous blogs today: travel, fashion, beauty, and entertainment blogs.

 These blogs constantly write content and promote brands through the content they post, so that they attract more customers and sell those products better.

 Managing a blog takes more time than just being an addictive writer. In any case, we recommend using independent blogging platforms, such as WordPress, along with a fast and stable hosting service to contribute to its success. Of course, the domain name plays a crucial role, because it represents the brand.

 Post constantly

  It doesn't matter how often you post, it's important to set a schedule and stick to it. Your target audience wants to know when you post new content to read. Following a plan also helps motivate you to write content deliberately, and consistently.

 How to write web content on the blog

 Like any kind of writing, it requires a variable and different stylistic approach. The way you write an article on a media news site will be different from the way you write an article on a blog. And vice versa.

There are two main reasons for this:

 1. Research shows that people read the content of the site differently. They do not devour every word. They quickly scan the material, pay more attention to the content that appears at the top of the page and read-only what stands out.

 2. Don't just write for people, but also for Google's algorithm. In other words, the posts need to be optimized so that the Google search engine can understand the content and rank it appropriately in the search engine. However, it is possible to write content that will attract both readers and Google. Here's how:

  • Focus on your target audience and find out what interests them;

  • Choose a topic that attracts readers and looks for relevant keywords;

  • Write an engaging title and include the main keyword;

  • Put the most important information first;

  • Divide content into scannable pieces;

  • Includes H1 and H2 subtitles;

  • Use keywords;

  • Use numbered lists;

  • Includes images;

  • Includes a series of frequently asked questions and answers at the end, if applicable;

  Learning how to write content requires documentation, time and research. To write SEO-optimized, you can use various WordPress plugins, such as Yoast, to capture more relevant traffic.

 How bloggers make money

 From advertising. If you have created a strong enough community, you can end up promoting the products and services of some companies, which will help them to increase their sales.

From affiliation. You can use affiliate links from which to earn a certain commission for each product ordered through the affiliate link, from various online stores. Currently, it is one of the most sought-after online marketing methods.

 Sponsored ads on the blog. You can search for relevant brands with which to establish sponsorship contracts and advertising agencies.

 Online shop. If you already have an online store, blogging is a great way to drive extra traffic.

 Investing in digital marketing. Constantly blogging, and optimizing

your Google search posts is not enough. Posts should be promoted to reach as many people as possible. Over time, a strong community is created. Until then, however, you can invest in paid digital marketing on Google Ads and social media ads. Also, email marketing is a very good source of traffic if you have a subscriber database.

 Email marketing. E-mail is the perfect way to build a continuous and engaging relationship with your audience. But be careful, the list must be with subscribers. Lists in which no email addresses have been entered, called SPAM, are not untrustworthy!
