HOW TO TURN TRAFFIC INTO ADSENSE TRAFFIC ?

If you have been using AdSense ads on your site for a long time, and you think that you have earned as much cash, in 99.99% of cases you are right. A lot of people feel frustrated that they can't generate revenue as expected, and this is down to traffic levels as well as click-through rates.

There are many ways to convert traffic, to AdSense traffic and here is a short list with details for each.

The first thing you need to do is adjust the content of your site. While for some people this is not an option (if you are running a forum for example it is very difficult) most people can make their AdSense sites certified cash cows.

To get started, you need to figure out what your site's keywords are. This is a basic technique in SEO (search engine optimization) called keyword density authentication. A better tool for this task is SEO Density Analyzer.

Then you should take this list of words and search for Overture Search Inventory or Google Ads Words Sandbox.

From that point on, try to keep your site focused on what appears in the keyword suggestions you receive. Try to include those keywords, or at least some related keywords, as often as you can in the links to your site.

Because of the way Google AdSense works, this is a sure way to increase your revenue as you get better ads on your AdSense banners, just as you get better Google Page Rank.

It is also important that you constantly add new pages to your site. This is very important, the more pages you have, the higher the chances that you will get more hits in your ads.

It is also important that you choose the right formats for your AdSense banners and the best placement for them. While this is a very broad topic, you should generally know that the top three Google AdSense formats are: 336 × 280 Large Rectangle 300 × 250 Medium Rectangle and 160 × 600 Skyscraper.

Make sure you choose the right colors for the ads, because making them very different from the content of your site (or just badly differentiating) will ensure that visitors see them as a banner that has nothing to do with the site.

Make sure these ads are located where they will generate the highest amount of profit. Many times, that location is called right before the actual content of your site begins.

On pages with a long text buddy, you can find skyscrapers to do better, simply because users stay in touch with them for longer periods of time. Also, for sites with news or similar items, you may find yourself in a better position to be at the bottom of your content, since people are reading your story and trying to do more.

If your page has a lot of text, you should use additional AdSense units. Just make sure not to do too much as you may find that you will get very low CTR and low revenue, then you are in the first place using this technology inappropriately. Three units can be added from your part, so use them wisely.

There's a Google AdSense preview tool that lets you visualize what ads will appear on your page, and it can come in handy as a testing tool.

Make sure you respect the AdSense policy regarding click fraud. As an indicator, you can place a picture next to your add-on, just be sure to leave some space in the middle to make sure that clicking on the link is not considered as encouraging visitors.

Of course, there are additional ways to increase AdSense traffic to everyone's site, but these should serve as a good starting point for maximizing revenue.
