how to treat coronavirus

The mian symptoms fo the virus is that it cause pneumonia. Those who have fallen ill are reported to susuffer coughs, fever and breathing difficulties. in severe cases there can be organ failure. As this is viral pneumonia, antibiotic are of no use. The strength of the immune system. many of those who have died were already in poor health.

A new technology, based on a combination of optics and magnetic particles, can rapidly test 100 samples of patients potentially infected with the virus and reduce the diagnostic time to approximately 15mins

.The time it currently takes to diagnose ccorona virus poses one of the freatest challenges in treating infected paients and icreases the risk of exposure. using a new technology developed by Dr. amos danielli, o the alexander kofkin faculty of enginineering at Bar-llan university, saliva test can be analyzed within 15mins. the technology has already been proven to reduce the dianostic time of zika virus and is currently being used in the israel misitry of health central virology laboratory at tel hasomer hospital.

Dr. Danielli lab has developed a technolgy for sensitive detection of virus-specific RNA sequences by attaching the virus RNA to a fluorescent molecule that emits light when illuminated bya a laser beam. At very low concentrations of RNA the signal emitted is so low that exisitng devices can not dectect it. "If we think of the saliva of corona patient filling an entire room, then this laser beam can be compared to the size of a fist and at low concentrations of virus RNA, there might be only 2-3 flourescent molecules within that fist".

The high sensitivity of the platform and its ease of operation facilitate its use in point of care applications where resources are limited. to provide doctors with an alternative method for accurate dectection.

Currently Dr. danielli is searching for an invester to accelerate the development of the coronavirus kit so it can rapidly be introduce in hospitals.
