What is Gimkit?
Gimkit is a web-based tool that helps teachers manage their classrooms. It was designed for teachers to grade homework assignments, manage behavior, communicate with parents, and collaborate.
Gimkit is a tool that allows students to record their ideas and learning through an easy-to-use web interface. Teachers can use the same tool in their classrooms so they don’t have to wrinkle their noses when reading another teacher’s students' writing.
Gimkit can provide a mechanism through which students can share their ideas with many people around the world in real time. This is imaginable in more than a few ways: using blogs, wikis, or movie clips.
What is a Gimkit page?
Futemax pages are the main construction wedges of Gimkit. Each page has an associated URL that users can look up to view the page. Pages are stored in the database. Additionally, each page comprises one or more possessions, such as text, audio, images, or movies. A resource has an associated URL that users can be looking up to view the resourcing when it is stored on the Gimkit server.
What is it used for?
Gimkit is a technology that can be used to build an online community, exactly what “how to” books are meant to be. Therefore, to put it another way, after each book, there should be an activity that the reader can use to participate in a discussion with their peers.

How to use Gimkit?
Account Creation
Sign in to your school district to access the app
Click on your profile icon in the upper-right corner of your screen, and then click Create New Account.
Choose whether you want to create an individual or classroom account. So, an individual account gives you access to a student’s skill level and progress, while a class account gives you access to all students’ skills and progress information in one place.
After creating a school or classroom account, click the student's tab to access the main dashboard.
