How do cricket balls swing?
The cricket ball's swing is ultimately caused by asymmetrical airflow over either side of the ball, which causes a net sidewards force to act on the ball. The asymmetry of the airflow can be enhanced by increasing the speed of the ball, the roughness of the ball, and the seam position of the ball.
Types of swing bowling in cricket:
In-swing:
Hold the cricket ball properly. Keep the left straight and point to the fine legs. The shiny side of the cricket ball should face offside.
