How to study for long hours with focus for Exam.

How to study for long hours with a focus on Exams.

Motivation matters: 40% of Higher school students chronically disengaged from school.

Do you know the maximum heart attacks in the world happen on Monday because everyone is too afraid to work on Monday after a peaceful Sunday?

         1) Best time:

  • For studying 8 hours first, you need to decide that from when you should start studying.
  • When your attention and concentration are maximum.
  • For finding out this, we will use a thing which scientist the notes as “chronotype.”

Chronotype actually means that whether you are a morning person or evening person.

 Morning person

this type of person whose eyes automatically shut after night 10 p.m. to 11 p.m.

First shift: 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

 Second shift: 4 a.m. to 6 a.m.

A morning person will not have any problem waking up early; therefore, you can do it.

  Night Owl.

That type of person who is not able to sleep before 4 a.m. to 5 a.m.

If you come under this category, then first take a nap between 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

 First shift: 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

  Break: 10:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

  Second shift: 10:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.

         2) Go Goal

The time we set for our study if we want actually to study in that time, we have to get to this study technique.

Because you have that problem that we can study for 10 to 15 minutes with full concentration, but then we start daydreaming how to stop this daydreaming?

For this case, the scientific effect will help us; that effect is called the ownership Effect.

Step 1: set a goal for The Next one hour.

  1. How many topics do I need to cover?
  2. How many pages do I have to read?

First, set the goal, now as the goal/target has been set, then write it down on a piece of paper and stick it where you are studying, right in front of your eyes.

Because most students start studying without any target, they start studying blindly.

But using the ownership method, your mind will divert its focus to finish that task right in front of you. Because we humans are a competitive species, our brain tends to compete with the task to finish it up.

And I am not telling this on my own, “Harvard Business Review” did research and proved that those students who set a goal while studying in 250% more likely to achieve it than the others.

      3) Study Space

According to a 2014 Nobel prize-winning research, our brain is actually like a GPS. The place where we study (study space). That place actually has a tremendous effect on our study.

Motivated everyday study in the same place every day that place should only be dedicated to studying where loud noises are minimum and bright light is a mandatory

study in this study space every day

as it goes that when we organize, our concentration increases.

  4) Mix and Match

When you get tired to change your study style.

If you were reading something, then quickly change your style to making the topic notes; if you were making notes and change your study style and try to dictate what you were writing.
