How To Store Food Ingredients
Today, I’m Going To Share A Way
To Keep The Food Ingredients You Eat Often Fresh And Not Have To Throw It Out.
Peeled Garlic That Gets Easily Soft And Moldy 🧄
It Is Important To Wash Thoroughly And Completely Remove Moisture.
This Is How I Store Garlic, In Three Ways.
Cut The Stem Part As Mold Is Easily Formed.
Spread About 1 cm Of Salt. It Absorbs Moisture. (it Can Be Replaced With Sugar Or Flour)
I'll Put A Paper Towel On It And Add Garlic. (only As Much You Will Eat)
Finally, Cover It With A Paper Towel To Prevent Moisture As Much As Possible.
Cut A Few, Some Number Of Garlic Into Pieces,
Soak It In Olive Oil, Keep It In The Refrigerator, And Use It For Pasta.
The Rest Will Be Ground And Frozen.
Adding A Little Water When Grinding Garlic Helps To Grind It Well.
After Freezing For 4-5 Hours, Put Them In A Container And Take them Out One By One When Needed.
It Looks Like Garlic Candy. 🧄🍬
If You Keep Garlic This Way, You Can Eat Them All Without Throwing Any Away.
After Removing The Stems, Soak It In Water With Diluted Vinegar For 10 Minutes.
Rinse Thoroughly With Running Water And Remove Moisture.
If You Keep It Upright, It Can Be Fresh For Up To Two Weeks.
Slice The Remaining Amount That You Think You Can't Eat And Freeze It.
Bulk Large Spring Onions
I Will Clean Only The Withered Or Dirty Parts.
I'll Separate The Roots For Broth And Cut Them Into Pieces Smaller Than The Container.
Divide The Green Onions Into Parts, And Stack Them Layer By Layer Onto A Paper Towel.
This Will Keep It Fresh For Even A Month, So You Don't Have To Freeze It.
You Can Take It Out And Wash It When You Need It.
Paper Towels Get Wet Over Time, So Change Them Once.
Spring Onions, That Quickly Wither If Left In The Fridge,
Wash And Dry Them Well, Cut Them, And Store Them In The Refrigerator (recommended using Use Within 4-5 Days),
And Cut The Remaining Spring Onions Diagonally And Store Them.
Found Of The Most Used Ingredients, Onions, Is Convenient For Cooking When It Is Peeled And Refrigerated.
But, It Is Kept Best In A Cool And Shady Place With Their Skin. You May Consider This Method If You Buy Bulk Onions And Need Other Ways To Store Them, Don't Have A Proper Area To Keep Them In Hot Weather, Want To Prep Some In Advance, Or Onions Are Not Fresh And About To Go Bad.
Don't Cut All The Roots, Just Trim And Clean Them Up. (prevents Moisture From Coming Out)
I'll Wash And Dry The Skin Well And Use It For Broth.
I Refrain From Using Disposable Wraps As Much As Possible,
But Onions Will Easily Soften If Left In Contact With Each Other,
So If You Wrap Them Individually, They Stay Fresh For A Long Time.
Refrigerate In A Zippered Bag Or Airtight Container. (again, Generally, Fresh Onions Are Best Kept In A Cool And Shady Place With Their Skin)
The Zipper Bag Is Washed And Reused Several Times.
Soak In Diluted Vinegar For 10 Minutes, Then Rinse Under Running Water.
When Completely Dry, Cut Off The Ends Of The Withered And Rotten Stems.
Put It Upright So That Only The End Of The Stem Is In Contact With The Water.
I Was Embarrassed By The Size Of The Potatoes That My Husband Bought. 🙄
In A Box With Holes Or A Ventilated Basket,
Layer Newspaper And Potatoes And Cover With An Apple. (apple Slows Down Sprouting.)
Please Keep In A Cool And Shaded Place. *refrigerated Storage Is Dangerous! A Carcinogen Called Acrylamide Will Be Produced.
Dry Sweet Potatoes 2-3 Days After Purchase. (moisture Removal Process)
Wrap Them One By One With Newspaper And Store Them In A Cool And Well-ventilated Place.
I've Already Used A Few, So I Don't Have Much,
But If You Buy A Lot, You Can Keep It For A Long Time This Way.
If Carrots Are Stored As-is, Moisture Escapes Easily And The Carrots Dry Quickly.
The Freshness Lasts Much Longer If You Wrap It In A Paper Towel And Store It In An Airtight Container.
Put The Carrots Diagonally And Wrap Them Up So You Can Wrap Them All.
There Are A Lot Of Small Carrots, So I Bundled Them Up And Wrapped Them.
Zucchini Washed Under Running Water And Drained,
Can Be Stored In The Same Way As Carrots. (if You're Going To Eat It Right Away, It's Okay Not To Wrap And Just Keep It In An Airtight Container.)
Paper Towels Are Reused When Cleaning The Kitchen.
For Soybean Sprouts That Go Bad Quickly, Remove Only The Dirty Parts,
Wash Them, Soak Them In Water And Change The Water Every 1 To 2 Days.
It Can Be Kept Fresh For 7-10 Days. (it May Vary Depending On The Condition Of The Soybean Sprouts And Refrigerator Settings)
You Can Keep Leftover Tofu By Keeping It In the Water
And Changing The Water Every Day To Keep It Fresh. Recommended For Quick Consumption
For Mixed Grains With Beans That Need To Be Soaked For A Long Time, Wash Them First, Soak Them In Water, And Store Them In The Fridge.
This Makes It Convenient To Use When Cooking Rice.
Because Bacteria Can Grow In Their Stems
Tomatoes And Cherry Tomatoes Should Be Stored After Removing The Stem.
Soak It In Vinegar
