How to Start a Successful YouTube Channel — 3 Tips ANYONE can do! part 3

That probably looked like her because your vibe attracts your tribe she's growing by 200 new subscribers a month 22,000 views a month she's posting three videos a month she's got clarity on what's happening on her channel and those are the buckets she's posting her videos in this is techno dad  did an interview with him on thick media he's making a  thousand maybe three four thousand dollars a month in affiliate marketing right now you know we're a tech channel here we share tools for creators like smartphone accessories like  right I'll cover home theater stuff I don't know anything about speaker wire and amplifiers  he does his thing is home theater reviews and so it's a niche within a niche I just said both it's that it's double niching or double niching it's  want to go multiple levels down when you're niching down right and so it's home theater stuff he's crushing it and doing really well the Smuggler's room prop making costumes build videos star awards room build comic-con room built three videos published a month 700 new subscribers a month fifty-two thousand views a month look you can grow to a thousand subscribers 100 subscribers fast in 2020 you got to get clear on like who are you trying to reach and what kind of content are you posting why should people subscribe I recommend you in each town if you haven't started tip one start before you're ready and start messy and don't over optimize at the start but once you start going you got to get clear on these answers uh Tanya Eliza she is kind of like really helps people in direct selling but also just for like leadership and entrepreneurship she's actually gonna be sharing some crazy tips in our YouTube influence challenge and if you have a tube influence comm link in the description she's gonna be on there for like a rise up women's panel of these different women creators that are doing business video and here's what's crazy five videos a month seventeen hundred new subscribers a month about seventy views a month she has a multiple seven-figure business per year okay she only gets seventy thousand views this is the myth that a lot of creators are believing like oh you don't you need a million gifts I need a million subscriber not good to get no 70,000 views a month she's got a multiple seven-figure business that's because she's got a business built around her YouTube channel  of the biggest mistakes you can make is actually focusing on YouTube like you're not trying to make money on YouTube you're using YouTube to make money on a different business a different positioning in the market solving a problem thinking bigger as an entrepreneur and sure are there people who just make money off  the opportunities go so deep it's like the iceberg when you really understand strategies you think about a bigger picture a bigger business model that she can build around your channel this is Mary's nest we met her at 0 she actually joined one of our programs she's over a hundred thousand subscribers 600,000 views a month 22,000 new subscribers a month traditional cooking for the modern pioneer bone broth ferments sourdough it's amazing what  is doing  she's answered those powerful questions for her channel so tell me in the comments who  your channel for like by the way I don't watch Mary's Channel I don't watch  fashion tips for women over 40  either when you narrow down your who that's where the power is what problem do you solve fashion tips from women over 40 okay solves a clear problem and why is this channel different because it's not for women in their 30s or 20s alright why should subscribe because I'm a woman in my 40s that wants fashion tips  it really gets clear I'm not saying that it's easy I'm saying doing the work to think these questions through will really help you stand out on YouTube so hit the like button if you're getting value because I got more questions for you and this will really help you out number two your video every time you post a video you should think about what's the goal of that video now this might blow your mind not every video should have the same goal one of the reasons people make a mistake  they post a video on YouTube and in the beginning they're like alright the goal of this video and can you like this video can you please subscribe to this video can you join my email list watch the video to the end make sure you share this video make sure that this they try to get everybody to do everything all in one video did you know that videos work best on YouTube if they have one purpose here's what I mean maybe the goal of the video guess what your hope not every  goal is to give use like sometimes it might be like to talk to your subscribers and be like hey y'all you want to hang out like here's some information about the channel new people don't care they don't know you yet so some videos are actually you're like I think this is a wide topic it could reach a new audience and bring them into the community some videos just might be for your subscribers it wouldn't even really be relevant to new people like they might watch it now some videos might be really good because you're gonna do like a product review you can make like a lot of money on affiliate marketing but not every video needs to even really make money with affiliate marketing sure some videos could always make money from YouTube views through monetization but sometimes to you could sit down and say man this is gonna get a lot of use  no affiliate marketing opportunities and if you don't know what that is I'll link up a playlist and put a description a link to a playlist in the description below that's like one of my favorite ways to make money the shortest path to monetizing a YouTube  channel even better than YouTube ads but like not even not see we weren't into the mistake of thinking like every video needs to do everything  then we lose one video one purpose so really ask yourself like what's the end goal of this video like who is this video for and again that's like a niche within a niche is it for your subscribers or is it hopefully trying to reach new people and for people who don't know you know we're going a  longer here you may have stumbled over this video in fact let me know how long have you been connected to think media we first meet you may have like stumbled on this video but like obviously we're going longer here like we're digging deep I'm like lift pulling back the curtain we're diving into some stuff we've been posting like  video seven-minute videos on thick media think about that this is like a longer livestream you know and so each video can have different purposes I'm able to like shout out truth still matters  fix like good to see you guys and so what's up Tech Center what's up Rosa so like different videos have different purposes if you try and literally talk to every single person at the same time you can really get into trouble so then also what problem is this video solve this video solves the problem of how do I start right start with more clarity start with better questions what can I learn from someone who's already started failed a lot but has also had a lot of success on YouTube so does this video if you don't know the answers to these questions maybe that's why you're not getting very many views or people click on a video and leave CUZ you don't got any clarity how can you open up the video letting people know exactly what they're about to watch if you haven't even thought through how you're going to hook the  attention by articulating what they're gonna watch at the beginning of the video we're talking about number two start with the end in mind like what's the end goal of your channel getting clear about that what is the end goal and end purpose of this particular video different videos have different purposes I know certain videos on thick media that are gonna get way more views because they're a broader topic we're putting out a series right now unlike how to zoom in on iMovie it's not really a surprise that that video didn't go viral I know because YouTube's a search engine and by the way keywords do matter keywords and tags do matter they are relevant ranking videos is a super real thing and 4.2 million views a month right now and think media proves the power I think of how you can build an army of ranked videos that get views why you snooze we put out a video like how to zoom in on iMovie it does terrible when we release it but what people don't realize is that six months later twelve months later two and a half years later four years later people are still watching that video and that video hits 50,000 views a quarter million views a half a million views and that  so many of those videos out there that there's like an army it's like a clone army that's how I'd like to think about come on Star Wars fans when you put out YouTube videos you're cloning and duplicating yourself when you put them out in the right way they can really solve a problem by the way they solve a specific problem for iMovie like the iMovie zoom in tutorial but then it also each video has different purposes that's all I'm trying to say so hit like if you're getting value and here's  next one right now it's reverse engineer your money start with
