How To Set Goals The Easy Way
Goal setting is extremely easy, although it can take a while to decide exactly what goals you need to set for yourself. An easy way to start is to make a list of everything you want to do with your life first.
Think, the better. When writing the list, try not to think about whether something will be possible or impossible to do, but instead write as if you are writing a wish list where you could have whatever you wanted.
This brings you one step closer to achieving your goals because often many of our goals are simply left on our minds and forgotten because we feel that we are unable to achieve them. However, you will be surprised at how many things you thought were impossible, they were actually possible if you took the time and made the effort to follow them.
Once you have created your wishlist, now you need to choose 5 goals that you want to start working on immediately. These goals can be anything you want, although in order to balance your life, it is a good idea to choose 1 goal for each area of your life. For example, a financial, romantic, personal, spiritual, and health goal is a good place to start. Even if you're doing what you think is best, if you want 3 financial goals and 2 health goals, that would be great. However, avoid focusing your goals on just one area, as this will disrupt your life.
While it can be tempting to choose more than 5 goals, 5 is a good number to start with as it allows you to focus on a few specific goals and put more energy into achieving them. If you choose too many goals to start with, you might feel overwhelmed and give up before you even start.
Once you are familiar with setting goals, you can start adding more goals later. It's actually a good idea to have as many goals as possible, but only when you're comfortable with the goal setting process.
With the 5 goals you have chosen, your next step is to write them down in an objective format. It just involves writing your goals in the present tense and positive tense. For example, I have or am.
This is extremely important because it tells the mind that this is what you should have, rather than what you want or have. So writing I Will or I have should be avoided.
This is extremely important because it tells the mind that this is what you should have, rather than what you want or have. We must therefore avoid writing I Will or I have.
Now that you have your goals written down as goals, look at them every day and rewrite your goals in the morning and evening to burn them into your mind. The more you focus on your goals, the stronger the desire to achieve them will be.
