Checking on both the apps, the option wasn’t available till the time of publishing this article.)
Step 2
Post customer confirmation, a Flipkart executive will pick up the product from their doorstep within 48 hours, the company said.
Step 3
Once the verification is done, Flipkart will verify the product and send an Electronic Gift Voucher to the customer in return for the confirmed sell-back value of the smartphone.
Help reduce the wastage…?
In general, each year, the total amount of electric and electronic equipment the world uses grows by millions of tonnes. Along with radios, toys, and laptops, smartphones have also joined the growing mountain of “e-waste” after use.
Flipkart in its official statement referred to an IDC report that recommends that there are almost 125 million (approx.) used smartphones in India, out of which just 20 million arrive at the revamped market. Almost 85% of the used smartphones end up in the garbage, which eventually increases the amount of e-waste in the environment. This program has been sent off to address this issue and furnish clients with a solid stage to sell their cell phones and get the right repurchase value.
