The best digital camera comes in two parts: a camera that is good for taking pictures, and one that can capture videos. We are currently using the Sony HV-C100 as our primary camera because it offers the most choices on how we use this device. The Sony HV-C100 can shoot full HD videos at 25 fps with 10 frames per second. The maximum resolution of video is 4K UHD or higher at 60 fps. Sony also offers other cameras than just the C100.
A better and more affordable option to get great quality and flexibility for your photography and videography needs is the Canon EOS S3. With an impressive 30 fps raw performance and 24 fps shooting at FHD or higher, you are getting the same capability you would have had with the flagship, but with less cash or bulk. In addition, you are likely getting a lot more features and functions with the $700 lower price point. The only drawback is a much larger size compared to the Sony C100.
The PIX MA MG13 is not quite as good a value as the Sony HV-C100, but it is still a very good choice in the field of professional and consumer applications with its easy interface and incredible image processing performance.
The Panasonic Lu mix DMC-V10 is a super high resolution alternative to conventional compact mirrorless cams, offering a wide variety of options from 8MP and 16MP to full high definition. It is also compatible with any external sensor or recorder type. For example, you can use an AIO (Aperture Interchange Oscillator) connected computer to easily convert between VGA and DSLR photos with ease. The main disadvantage is the large size that weighs around 21g, which is equivalent to 28.7 grams of film. This is much heavier than Sony’s 20.5 g film equivalent. If your goal is to be lighter than 25g for some reason, there are cheaper alternatives of about 7.5 g or 6.5 g.
After many years of continuous development, LG is releasing another powerful device with the new release of the Galaxy Note 2 devices. While the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will probably cost you between €700 to, €1000, the new LG G2 will offer better specs for a slightly greater cost. Although both these phones are powered by Android, Google’s OS will bring the experience closer to that of your smartphone.
For those who want something a little, a bit cheaper but a little more premium, they should consider buying the Nikon Z9 II. The Z9 II was released back in 2012 in Europe, but didn’t reach its global market size until 2013. Today, there is no price tag on the product. The original version came very close to being lost. You are paying €500 just to register it, which makes it a lot more expensive than the average budget camcorders.
The Canon Power Shot SX9020 is one of the cheapest full-featured small format SLR cameras available. Since it looks exactly like a regular camera, you can use the Canon SX9020 for almost all sorts of purposes, including capturing pictures or videos of what ever you want. There is an excellent amount of manual controls to take care of the settings that you may have forgotten.
The Fuji film XF10 has one of the lowest prices per megapixels on the market. The Fuji film XF10 is a full feature, extremely capable and versatile camera capable of playing nearly every role in your life. And if you have the money, you can even buy the XF10 for over 1 Million Euros. Because of its low price and high capabilities, you definitely don’t need to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on a camera.
In conclusion, we highly recommend purchasing the Sony HV-C100 and considering the PIX MA MG13, LG G2 and the Canon SX9020. These cameras make us really happy to see that Sony does not sacrifice too much at keeping their products affordable. They will continue to innovate in order to keep up with the fast changing technology trends in the business world.
