Living in today’s metropolitan world of cellular phones, mobile computers and other high-tech gadgets is not just hectic but very impersonal. We invest most of our time and effort in making more money. And it does not end here because we are never satisfied. How many times have we asked ourselves that if only we had some more money, life would be so sweet? But then, after we receive a substantial raise, we realize that it wasn’t enough and that we need more?
Here's how to get rich quickly. Count your blessings. This? Don't have the blessings? Oops! Think again! Everyone can have some blessings if they look closely.
Love:
The love of your family and friends and your love of humanity. Maybe you find the word ‘love’ is an unfamiliar word that you can use to not call it ‘love’ for us; perhaps to call for a deeper sense of wishing the best to those closest to you; and a lasting good wish for a whole good life for them. This feeling, which many call ‘love’ is the source of all other blessings.
Your profession, or vocation:
Or there may be days when you are afraid of the alarm clock, and you drag yourself to bed to face another day of problems that you will solve with people who try your patience is a blessing.
Most people do not even have a job, let alone a vocation or profession. Look beyond the disrespectful people and the problems and see them as an opportunity to make a difference in some way. You may not be able to change those people who are rude to you, but you can change the way you treat them. This is your chance to practice patience and tolerance and maybe these people will see this seed and plant it in them.
"Every day in every way I get better and better." This quote was made famous by French comedian Emile Coue ’. This is a good quote to keep in mind when you find yourself on the road to negative thinking. Our minds are far more powerful than we are. It is truly amazing that our empty mind will catch just one wrong thought and refuse to give it up, while it may take several (or a few hundred) good thoughts to rearrange that thought, but it will happen with endurance.
As we touch life with a silver covering, we can only see ourselves. But get rid of that cover, and you'll be able to see and hear others
In life, we could look at both types of mirrors, but we must keep in mind that the mirror reflects only us; the window is the door to compassion, health and true wealth. In other words, seek wealth by every possible way, but do not let it rob you of life, family, love, and the poor and needy. Yes, we need money and we could not aim to lead a moneyless existence now; its absurd and will only cause us and our families many heartbreaks in the future.
So the next time you feel down and prepare to commit suicide, or get overwhelmed with debt, remember this: Get Rich! Count Your Blessings!
