Love dolls are made of highly elastic TPE material, but accidents can occasionally lead to damage, such as scratches on the doll's skin and other surface injuries. While minor repairs can often be handled on your own, here's how to go about it:
Surface Scratches and Their Repair
Surface damage mainly includes skin, hair, nails, eyes, makeup, and other cosmetic issues. These damages are relatively easy to repair, but there may still be defects that cannot be fixed. In such cases, contact your retailer or an authorized love doll service provider immediately.
Skin Repair
Damage to the TPE love doll skin can be relatively easy to repair. In most cases, these are minor cracks that can be simply glued back together.
The larger the damage, the more complex the repair, and the doll may not be restored to its original condition 100% when the surface has been scratched or if parts of the silicone have come off, which is to be expected.
Materials Needed for Skin Repair:

- Paper towels
To begin the repair, you need to properly identify the damaged area. First, wipe the area with baby oil on a towel or ultra-fine fiber cloth to remove any dirt. Then, the crack should be clean, meaning no dust is present.
Additionally, before applying the glue, ensure that the oil hasn't dried up, and it hasn't entered any crevices. After cleaning, apply a small amount of clear TPE glue with a toothpick at the crack. Gently press and hold for about 1 minute. Before the glue dries, use a toothpick to remove any excess glue from the damaged area. Then, wait for the glue to completely dry (1-2 hours), and the repair is complete.
Nail Repair
Nail damage is a relatively simple problem to solve. If the nails on a silicone doll come off, you can use a generous amount of glue to reattach them. Simply apply the glue to the doll's fingertips and let it harden.
Love dolls are known for their flexibility and possibility. However, joints and fingers can become damaged. What should you do in such a situation?
If the internal structure of the doll, including joints, wire connections, or metal plates, is damaged, repairs can be complex and require skilled and nimble hands. The most challenging part here is repairing the metal plates and joints, and professional assistance should be sought. Nevertheless, some "joints" are formed with wire tubing to allow the limbs to bend. By repairing these, you can restore mobility to the love doll's limbs.
It's important to note that wrists and fingers are the most fragile parts of the doll's metal skeleton. Fingers may break, wire tubing may snap, and the doll may become immobile, or some wires may protrude from the fingers. If you've encountered such an issue, here's what you should do:

- Adhesive and TPE solvent
- Drill
- Resin adhesive
- Hot air gun
In this example, we'll explain the operation of the palm, but depending on the situation, it can also be applied to the area around the wrist joint. This depends on the exact location of the wire tubing. This is because, with the help of resin, connecting individual wire tubes can make the hand flexible, and it's hoped that they can be replaced when they break.
To effectively do this, you need to prepare all the tools and have the love doll placed in a stable position. First, you need to cut the silicone layer so that you can access it with a surgical knife. Then, use a drill bit (or a curved cutter) to dig out the resin that holds the wire tubing in place. Then, separate and cut each conduit. This is a very precise job and must be done carefully so as not to damage the shell or the silicone itself with the drill.
After separating the tubes, pull them out of the fingers and the shell. Additionally, thoroughly vacuum out the entire shell to remove any residual resin debris. At this stage, the shell is completely empty, ready for the insertion of new wire tubes.
Next, use resin adhesive to secure the wire management inside the shell. But before gluing, you need to ensure it's positioned correctly on each finger so that the tubes are not too long or protruding, and the fingers do not pierce the silicone. On the contrary, it might be too short to accommodate your fingers. Before putting the wire/tubes on the fingers, we must ensure that a layer of thin carpet covers the wire/tubes and apply a little glue. As a result, the wire on the silicone fingers is securely fixed.
Once the wire tubes have been completely replaced successfully, you must seal the cracks in the palm and wrist. This can be done using glue, TPE solvent, or soldering. The procedure here is the same as for skin repair. Simply apply TPE glue gently on the cracked walls, press down, and wait for about 30 seconds for the glue to take effect.
Please note that this is a complex and delicate process, and it's recommended to seek professional help if you're not confident in your skills. Repairing a love doll's internal structure can be challenging and may require specialized expertise.
