Despite the long talk about the privacy of WhatsApp, a lot of people still use it. And even if it sometimes seems like an indispensable part of life, you can only feel like shutting the world off through constant notifications. Fortunately, WhatsApp users can follow certain tips to ease their headaches without deleting the app. Even if you do not want to talk with the application, removing it is the way to go. However, you can change your phone's settings and sometimes the app's settings to partially silence notifications.

The WhatsApp shortcut can also be deleted from the user's home screen to prevent alerts if they do not open the main app page. You will receive notifications for the message only when you choose. Users may also delete mobile WhatsApp data specifically by heading to their phone settings, deactivating background data, and revoking all WhatsApp app permissions. They won't receive messages in the application unless you reverse the settings. This works only for Android users, however. Further, you can force the app to stop the sender by going to telephone settings > Apps> Select WhatsApp and click Force Stop.

To customize notifications, Android users can go to Phone settings:

-- Go to Settings
-- Select Notifications > Manage Notifications
-- Select WhatsApp app
-- The user can either turn off his notifications completely or selectively disable the first preview and display notification details on the unlocked screen depending on the requirement.
-- Users can also opt for notifications, calls, critical app alerts, and more if they want to receive media sent.
--Users can also access messages and disable the toggle for pop-up or sound notifications.

This allows you not to show up on your screen any popup notifications. Unchecked messages could appear on the app icon. This will only affect you, however, if new messages are checked by the application. By choosing WhatsApp Settings, users can also turn off the notification light for WhatsApp. Select Light and then select None, first to Notifications.

By following the following steps, iPhone users may modify notifications:

-- Open WhatsApp
-- Go to Settings located in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
-- Go to Notifications
-- Disable the Show Preview option
