HOW TO REMOVE TINT FROM CAR.

Your car may have had its color for so long that you've grown tired of it. Or maybe your car's tint is already peeling off the edges, so you'd rather have everything removed than leave it that way. Try bringing your car to a professional and have them remove the tint from your car. More often than not, they ask you to pay a lot of money than you expected.

In fact, prices could range from around $50 to over $100. They primarily claim that removing the tint from your car would be a difficult task, keeping in mind that they would also ensure that your car windows are not scratched. However, if you know what type of materials to use and how to do it, you can be on your way to saving a lot of money to spend on other non-trivial matters.

The procedure is easy. You need a single-edged razor, a clean rag and an all-purpose spray cleaner. You can also try using other solvents that may work well for removing any adhesive but are gentle on your car's window and paintwork. Once you have all of these things on hand, start the process by grabbing the corner of the window tint film with a razor blade. Remember that car tint is not something painted on the glass of your window. It is a specially designed thin film applied to your window.

When you have successfully grasped the corner of the foil, pull the foil off. Once the foil is out, spray the glass cleaner. Then put the film back on the window and let it sit there for about 15 to 20 minutes. Then remove the film again. Spray more cleaner on the glass and use a razor to scrape off any remaining film and any adhesives. Once done, wipe the glass clean with a cloth.

On the other hand, if you don't think this is your kind of job and you just feel like you might damage your window, you can contact a local maintenance shop that offers such a window tint removal service. However, keep in mind that for a simple task like removing color film, you would have to spend a significant amount of money.
