This article offers free tips and tips on how to reduce stress. I am a person who gets stressed out in a big way. At one point, a colleague commented that he thought I was carrying the burden of the world's problems on my shoulders. My hair started to turn gray when I was just twenty-one years old. Things had to change and change, though.
I realized that the way I was living my life was probably not only unhealthy but also very unsatisfactory. At the age of twenty-two, I decided to try to change my life. I believe I need a change of attitude, I am a very negative person and the first thing I worked on was to try to be a more positive thinker.
Then I read a lot of books on mindfulness and positive thinking on the subject. To my surprise, I really enjoyed reading this stuff and the lessons I learned were to change my life forever, for the better.
One of the first things I learned, now that it seems so obvious, is to think about a situation and the stress will not make it go away or make it easier. In fact, it makes it a lot worse. The important thing to remember is that all you can do in life is to try your best. When a negative thought or worry enters your head, you must immediately ignore it and change your thought processes to think of something that makes you happy or laughs. You have to treat these demons as your worst enemy and fight them. Treat this as a battle and decide not to let them win the battle of the minds.
The next lesson I learned is that living in constant stress is a waste of life. You don't know when your time is up, and so you need to count every minute. We know we have a life, and I personally believe in the afterlife, so we have to make the most of that life. I now live every day as if it were my last, and live each one to its fullest.
The last suggestion is to think of other people in the world who are not as fortunate as you. For example, I was very sorry for myself and believed that I was very unfortunate. When thinking about other people living in the world, I realized that I was one of the lucky ones. People in Africa and the Third World, for example, would probably laugh at me if I explained my worries to them.
Breathe in to relieve stress,
If you don't like meditation or don't have time, you can stop for at least a minute to breathe. Breathe deeply through your nose and let out as much pressure from your muscles as possible. Pay special attention to the tightness in your face and shoulders. Deep breathing, even for a minute, you can relax significantly.
Solve your stresses,
I was sitting there getting ready to write this. Upon reflection, I realized that I was postponing a phone call. As I said, I had to tell acquaintances that I could not testify in court. She was disappointed, but as soon as I made the call, I felt more at ease.
Simply making decisions and taking action is one of the most immediate ways to relieve stress. Whenever you feel stressed, take some time, identify the things that contribute to your state of mind and then do something about them. It's all in this simple technique.
Almost. Naturally, you cannot solve everything that bothers you at any moment. Still, what you can do is take some action. Uncertainty, waiting, surprise and worry create stress. Even if you list what to do, your mind often leaves these things. Start a list, talk to someone, make a decision - do something to relieve the stress.
