SEVEN CHANGES YOU MUST MAKE TO GET RID OF STUBBORN BELLY FAT
Throughout my years as a personal trainer, I've noticed that all of my clients who struggled to lose belly fat had a number of things in common that were stopping them from doing so. In my personal experience of leaning out to a lower body fat (cutting) for summer, I've discovered that there are some items that helped me lose belly fat quickly while others seemed to inhibit it. I'm about to tell you what I discovered. I'll give you ten issues that are most likely stopping you from shedding belly fat, as well as ten remedies to these issues.
If you want to remove your persistent belly fat and love handles, pay close attention to these 7 key changes you need to make. Fat-Loss Training Regimen Issue: Your fat-loss workout routine is ineffective.
If you're having trouble burning fat, it's very probable that you're doing the improper workout to lose stubborn belly fat. Most people tend to believe that 30 minutes on the elliptical and a few ab exercises is the way to go when it comes to fat loss (especially belly fat). So, what's this? Not only is this one of the least effective fat-burning workouts available, but it's also tedious and uninspiring! The key to acquiring abs is to realize that everyone has them; they're just hidden beneath a layer of fat.
All you have to do now is get rid of the fat that covers them, and sorry to bust your bubble, but doing nothing but ab exercises and low-intensity cardio will not help. Certain abdominal workouts, such as weighted ab exercises, will help you bring your abs out a little more (particularly relevant to guys), but if you aren't shedding the fat concealing them, you will never see them.
Another common misunderstanding, particularly among women, is that weightlifting will make you bulky and muscular. This is a load of nonsense! I'm delighted that more and more ladies are 'realizing' the importance of weight training.
It will aid in the loss of stubborn abdominal fat and the acceleration of your metabolism. Compound motions are the finest exercises for fat loss since they burn a lot of calories while also increasing testosterone levels. Squats, deadlifts, rows, and presses, all with substantial weight, are the best compound exercises (be sure you're doing them correctly to avoid injury). Simply put, you must alter your exercise routine. A combination of weight training and high-intensity interval training (HIIT) circuits is the greatest sort of workout for fat loss. If you're not sure what HIIT circuits are, check out my blog post on the subject, where you'll find more information as well as several sample circuits to try.
If they are a little too advanced for you, you can replace your HIIT circuit with my beginner workout regimen, which you can see on my blog.
Solution: Increase your weight training and high-intensity interval training (HIIT) circuits. You're probably thinking what you should do for your workouts to get rid of that obstinate tummy fat.
I'd suggest starting with a weight-lifting plan that demands you to lift for 3-5 days a week (upper/lower body splits are a good place to start), then adding an HIIT circuit 2 times a week, gradually increasing to 3-4 times a week. There are various good weight lifting exercises you can do, so just choose a basic weight lifting regimen.

Here's an example of an overall workout plan that you can use as a guide. The remaining two days of the week will be used for rest.

Problem with Food Intake: You're either eating too much or not enough.
Most likely, you aren't eating enough food to burn off that undesirable tummy fat.... In either case, you're stopping your body from entering fat-burning mode and, as a result, it'll continue to hold on to stubborn fat no matter what you do.
There's no way to lose weight and burn fat if you're eating more calories than you're burning every day, regardless of what workouts you're performing!
Depending on how much more you eat and the types of calories you consume, you will gain more fat (or muscle).
On the other side, if you consume too little, your body will go into starvation mode, slowing your metabolism, reducing muscle mass, and eventually preventing you from losing weight. A popular guideline is to consume at least 1200 calories each day, as this is the bare minimum that your body need to obtain all of its essential elements.
Solution: Consume the appropriate amount of food for your goals and lifestyle.
How many calories should you consume each day? That is, after all, a difficult question. Although this varies from person to person, there are a few tools you can use to obtain a rough idea of how much you should be consuming.
You can use the calorie calculator in my blog's sidebar, or you can use other calorie calculators online, which will give you a lot more exact result because it will take into account your level of activity. Both of these will give you an estimate of how many calories you should be eating to lose weight. The more physical activity you conduct on a daily basis, the more calories you'll need to consume.
Now, I'm not suggesting that you keep track of your calories to the letter every day.
What I recommend is that you figure out how many calories you need to lose weight using the calculator above, and then keep track of how many calories you consume each day. If it's above or below, make the necessary modifications and attempt to stay within this range. It's as easy as that, and if you stick to it, you'll see results!
Processed Foods Issue: You consume an excessive amount of processed foods.
One of the worst things you can do for your body is eat a lot of processed meals.
Here are some suggestions to help you avoid processed foods:
When purchasing goods such as pastas, cereals, rice, and crackers, read the ingredients list before purchasing.
Store-bought items containing high-fructose corn syrup should be avoided.
Pay a visit to your neighborhood farmer's market
Solution: Increase your intake of whole, natural foods.
You're probably wondering what meals you should eat at this point. 100daysofrealfood has compiled a list of entire, natural foods you should be eating:
Whole foods that are more of a natural product than an industrial product.
Whole-wheat and whole-grain products are available.
Seafood
Water, milk, naturally sweetened coffee, and tea are the only beverages allowed.

Sugar Intake Issue: You are consuming far too much sugar.
This is a problem I've observed in the majority of my clients, and it'll be the most difficult thing for you to change.
I guarantee that if you take it slowly and make modest modifications every day, you will be able to make this difference. Let's look at why sugar makes people acquire weight and what we can do about it.
Excess fructose consumption is linked to insulin resistance and raised insulin levels, making it difficult to lose belly fat despite our best efforts.
According to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, added sugar should account for no more than 10% of your total daily calories. One can of soda already has about 85% of the daily sugar requirement!
Limit your sugar intake as a solution.

Protein Intake Issue: You are not getting enough protein.
When most women (and occasionally men) think about losing weight, they instantly think of cutting calories, primarily from carbohydrates.
Although you should reduce your carbohydrate intake to lose weight, you must also ensure that your protein intake is sufficient.
Although your calorie intake is the most weight gain and reduction, the type of calories you consume has an impact on the type of weight you gain.
Solution: Increase your protein intake!!
So, how much protein should you consume on a daily basis? The answer, of course, is dependent on a variety of things.
Carbohydrate Intake Issue: Your carbohydrate intake is too high to lose weight.
For the past two decades, health professionals have advised us to consume a low-fat, calorie-restricted diet. The issue with this diet is that it is ineffective.
Low-carb diets have been shown in studies to reduce appetite and cause you to eat less to few calories, allowing you to lose weight quickly as long as you keep the carbs low.
Solution: Maintain a carbohydrate intake of 10-30% of total calories.
A reasonable rule of thumb is to maintain your carb intake between 10% and 30% of your overall caloric intake.
Unfortunately, after a few weeks or months on a low-carb diet, your body will recognize what you're attempting to accomplish and slow down your metabolism to compensate.
Alcoholism : You're getting hammered much too much.
Alcohol, unlike carbs, proteins, and lipids, is a source of empty calories, or calories with no nutritional value.
To make matters worse, when paired with carbohydrates, lipids, or proteins, it is the first fuel to be used, which means that food consumed while drinking alcohol has a higher chance of being stored as fat. Alcohol also has 7 calories per gram, making it more calorie dense than carbohydrates and proteins (both of which have 4 calories per gram) and just 2 calories per gram less than fat (which has 9 calories per gram).
Solution: Drink with caution.
I won't tell you to stop drinking since it's enjoyable, and I believe in moderation. Here are some pointers to keep in mind on your night outs:
Drink alcohol with a higher alcohol content and a lower calorie value (vodka, for example). Less food will be consumed, resulting in a decreased overall calorie intake.
