How to Reduce the damaging effects of tea?

Here are the most practical ways to reduce the negative impact of tea.

1. Not starting the day with tea:

The worst time to consume tea is just after waking up. After a night's sleep, our brain and body are already dehydrated, and drinking tea then sucks up even the little water our body has. Tea is acidic in nature, so drinking it on an empty stomach disrupts the metabolism. It impacts the teeth enamel the most; even caffeine kick of bed tea is worse on an empty stomach. Instead of this, drink a glass of hot milk 30 minutes before sleeping and warm water just after waking up. This does the job even better for health.

2. Not drinking tea just after a meal:

This is not ideal because tea hinders the absorption of nutrients. Also, if you eat milk with salty food together, it produces toxins, which can become the reason for skin problems (rashes, hives, eczema). The right time to consuming tea is 2-3 hours after breakfast or lunch.

3. Never skip milk while making:

Adding milk to tea reduces the heating and drying properties of tea. Never skip it because of its calories, and don't fall for the fad of black tea or green tea ( fermented version of black tea).

4. Boiling tea for a long time:

The smart way to reduce its damaging effect is to boil it the least. Drinking tea at a stall is more stimulating as they boil for a long time. You can boil milk and water with your favorite spices like cardamom, fennel seeds, clove, mishri powder, Arjun seeds, etc., then add tea to it. This will dissociate its color and properties.

5. Consume tea less often:

One obvious way to reduce the damaging effect of tea is to consume it less often. A better alternative is Arjun tea which has more numerous benefits, such as-
• Natural heart tonic
• Reduces cholesterol
• Checks blood loss
• Anti-inflammatory
• Prevents stones
Even it can be consumed as bed tea. So try to consume less if possible as there are many more options except tea.
