How to Reduce Stress?

This article helps to reduce the amount of people stress. I know the experience of stress head, which I have to admit was a good description of me. Now I learned about ways to relax, which have helped me to live a much more care-free life.

Let us know about stress and how I controlled my stress levels.

Stress is a feeling of emotional, physical tension. It can come from any situation or thought that makes you feel irritation, angry, or nervous. Stress is your body's reaction to a challenge or order.

If your stress response doesn’t stop firing, and these stress levels stay elevated far longer than is necessary for survival, it can take a toll on your health. Chronic stress can cause a variety of symptoms and affect your overall well-being. Symptoms of chronic stress include:

  • irritation
  • anxiety
  • depression
  • headache
  • insomnia

Chronic stress is also a factor in behaviors such as overeating or not eating enough, getting tired, and social withdrawal.

By considering my story, there have been a number of issues in my own life which have caused me to lose confidence, feeling sad, become stressed and even depressed. These include:

A lack of true friends

I have had problems with debt

 A stutter

 A bald patch

I have had problems controlling of weight

I was often paranoid about what other people thought of me.

These issues caused many sleepless nights to me. I would be unable to get to sleep and unable to relax. This was due to worrying and thinking about my problems.

Then I decided to study ways in which I could increase my self-confidence, reduce the amount that I stressed and also about how I could learn to relax. Later, I believed that I had some tools and techniques which could help me.

  Stress management techniques

  Avoid Overthinking.

I'm one of the people who think unnecessarily. Basically, I am a deep thinker. This would not be a problem if I was thinking positively, but I was a negative thinker.

To help me to stop over thinking, I decided to start a music listening habit. Whenever a negative thought came to my mind, I would play this music. This could happen at anywhere whether I am in a car, office or at bed.

The music led me to take my mind off the issues that I was stressing about.

Stop smoking and focus on fitness instead

People decide to smoke a cigarette when they are in stress. I believe that exercise is a healthier and cheaper option than smoking.

I will do a few weights, few push-ups, and pull-ups, which helps me to let off some steam. It also helps me to control my anger and fears.

 Start Practice to relax.

Relaxation was a simple word to say, but very tough to do...

Now I have started various forms of alternative therapy such as Thai chi, meditation and reflexology. These are superb at helping me to relax and also help to reduce stress levels.

This is what has helped me to reduce my levels of stress, and I hope this may help others to avoid stress.
