How to reduce pain during menstruation

The menstrual period is different for each woman; some will undergo very painful or tough situations. Some women and girls may experience nausea, vomiting, headache, or diarrhea, but for some, it's like a normal day. Here we are looking through some home remedies that can practice by anybody during this menstruation to reduce the pain.

Increased intake of water will help to reduce menstrual pain to an extend. Like warm water or medicinal water prepared with ginger and caraway seeds will relieve this pain, drinking water keeps your body from retaining water and helps avoid painful bloating during menstruation. Warm or hot water is usually better for cramps, as hot liquids increase blood flow to your skin and may relax cramped muscles.

 

If you have regular periods, then try to avoid these below-mentioned foods one week before periods. Spicy food, oily food, salty foods, carbonated drinks, alcohol,  Caffeine, etc. Reducing or cutting out these foods can help alleviate cramps and decrease tension. Instead, try soothing (caffeine-free) ginger or mint teas or hot water flavored with lemon if you need a sugar fix, snack on fruits such as strawberries or raspberries.

 

Last but not least, exercise, yoga, meditation are playing some crucial roles in reducing this pain during periods; exercise is effective at reducing menstrual pain to the extent it may also eliminate or reduce the need for pain-relief medication. Moderate activity such as walking can be beneficial during your period in place of more strenuous activity. Exercise releases endorphins. Yoga is a gentle exercise that also releases endorphins and helps prevent or reduce menstrual symptoms. Normally the three different yoga poses — Cobra, Cat, and Fish — significantly reduced the intensity and duration of pain during menstruation for young women ages 18 to 22. Daily doing Surya Namaskara can also bring changes in menstrual pain.

 

Generally, a diet geared toward decreasing menstrual pain should be high in minimally processed foods, fiber, leafy vegetables, and plants. Papaya is rich in vitamins; Brown rice contains vitamin b-6, which may reduce bloating. Walnut, almonds, and pumpkin seeds are rich in manganese, which eases cramps. Olive and Broccolli contain vitamin E.Chicken, fish, and leafy green vegetables (spinach, moringa, etc.) contain Iron, which is lost during menstruation. Flax seeds contain omega-3s with antioxidant properties, which reduce swelling and inflammation can help in reducing pain during menstruation. Boron helps your body absorb calcium and phosphorus. It also reduces menstrual cramps. Foods with a high boron concentration include avocado, peanut butter, prunes, chickpeas, banana, etc.

 

So in total, we can reduce this pain and cramp during menstruation by over our own activities by changing our diet, doing yoga -meditation-exercises all a part of daily life. Boating is a common early symptom of menstruation that many women experience. It may feel like you’ve gained weight or like your abdomen or other parts of your body are tight or even swollen. Bloating generally occurs well before your period starts and will go away once you’ve been menstruating for a few days. You may not be able to prevent bloating completely, but there are some home-based treatments you can try to reduce it. Here are some ways to reduce period bloating, follow a low-sodium diet, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein, drink lots of water, skip caffeine and alcohol, limit processed foods, exercise regularly if  your bloating is extreme or affects your daily activities, you should talk to your doctor
