How to Rank Your Articles Easily on Google? What are the simple methods to follow?

Use the Focus Keyphrase

A focus key phrase is the main word you want Google to view your article with. This word must be featured in the title of your article because people search this word to get the results associated with your article.

The Focus Key phrase can be a single word or an entire sentence. Add this to your article in such a way, that people do not recognize, that you have added it to get their attention and drag them to your article.

It is also recommended to use the Focus Key phrase once in each paragraph and at least two times in an entire article.

You should avoid overdoing it. Using your key phrase word too many times in your articles negatively affects your chances of ranking. To avoid this, use your key phrase word as I mentioned above.

Quality Control and Backlinking

After associating your article with the suitable Key phrase word, you should make sure your article ranks higher than other articles with the same Key phrase words. Google ranks your articles on basis of the quality of your article. Google determines the quality by the number of people visiting your article. In some cases, people click on your articles and leave your page right away, causing a low ranking of your article even though you have quality content.

The alternative way to tell Google that your article is of high quality is to tell them that your article is associated with high-quality content.

This is achieved by back-linking. This is a way to tell Google that although your article does not have high engagement, the pages that are associated with it do. This helps Google to rank your website higher.

The best ways to backlink are:

(a) Embed your article with links to highly engaging web pages. The best way to do it is to link the websites which provide sources for your articles. If you look carefully, I have done this throughout this article.

(b) Post elsewhere. Write a different article and post it on another, highly engaged site. Provide hyperlinks to the articles through which you got the information, or to articles of your own. You can also hyperlink your article to another similar kind of article, that has the partially same content as in your article.

Doing both, Google finds your article as of higher quality than the other articles with the same key phrase.

Some more additional key information

a. Article length:

Google ranks articles that have quality content. If your article has 300 words, then there are great chances of not getting ranked higher. So, it is much convenient if your article has somewhere between 1000 to 1500 words.

b. Labelling:

Apart from your article title, you can also associate your content with your favored searches. For example, choose a relevant image and add a description and alt text that is both informative, and relatable to your content.

If the auto-generated URL does not suites to your article, adapt a personalized URL that matches your article needs.

c. Repeated content:

Google can easily detect duplicate content — that is, content that features in more than one place. If you are posting an article at one site and then repost it on another, then Google detects it and eliminates the second one.

d. Have Patience:

It takes 3 to 6 months to get valid results. That is just the way Google and SEO work. If you are not seeing any benefits, wait for a little longer before taking any drastic step.
