What to do?
Fortunately for me, there is always that curiosity about what exists in a different world that combines alternative therapies. I have tried many of them over the years and will continue to do so, all in the hope that I can improve things for my body, mind, and spirit. And it has.
I know that what works for me may not work for someone else, so the message is to keep trying until you find something that will suit your needs.
Many times I have been told that they have tried everything. What is it all about? What you can count on is one hand. It’s good to keep searching, you can find that your world is growing amazingly by making new friends (I have them) and picking up useful skills for your ‘live’ tool kit.
So what do I do if I get to a crossroads and need some guidance; or can I do some healing?
Below, I have listed 5 basic tips to help lift my spirits and practice that will help yours:
No: 1. Meditation! Meditation is one of the greatest tools available to you, and it costs nothing but your time! There are many ways to meditate there, find the one that suits you, and get started.
By including some meditation music and spending time thinking about peace. It can soothe your soul and reconnect you with your highest quality.
No:2. Aromatherapy and Essential Oils.
Balance and refresh your spirit by blending selected essential oils into an aromatherapy oil burner. I have found the following combinations to be very effective when there is a need for augmentation, support, and treatment:
About an hour before bed, put the following few drops into an aromatherapy oil tank with some water (for safety, turn off the flames before the lights are turned off at night):
4 drops Jasmine
4 drops rose
4 drops Nero
3 drops of lavender
3 drops of bergamot
The divine scent! I use this again and again and again and not just sleep like a baby but the anxiety and depression disappear, and I feel like the weight of the earth has been removed from my shoulders the next morning! (If you have a small bedroom, you would like half the amount of drops)
No: 3. Breathe! Stand with feet apart shoulder-length apart. Take 3 deep and deep breaths using the diaphragm muscles. Inhale through the nose, then breathe through slightly different lips. As you do this, imagine that you are inhaling your energy, filling all the cells in your body, from the diaphragm to the top of your head.
Be your strength and be aware of how tall, straight, and strong you are. Repeat the steps above.
No: 4. Be Modern. Take a deep breath and concentrate fully on the moment, right now.
If you are reading a book or a magazine, or this article, concentrate on the words and the meaning. There is only you and this article right now.
When you are at work, focus entirely on the work you are doing, and only this work, and what you have to do to complete it. There is nothing more important than you and the work you have done.
No: 5. Set a goal. When I look for something new and useful to me, I set my focus on what I want.
For example, I would like to get a book that will give me answers about guiding me to another healing process or skill. Then I think about it, give it a try, and open my heart to it. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. I love the power of purpose - and I use the intention of finding a parking space when I go shopping!
These days I rarely get sick and when I get sick and go for a check-up, the doctors tell me that I'm healthy (they can certainly find something to feel here!) Which includes the results of a blood test.
I still do well to be unhappy (still human) even though it doesn't last long and in the past, it took many days sometimes weeks. Long-lasting is a state of peace.
When I apply the 5 points above, my spirit rises and life returns to peace and happiness.
