How to protect your eyes from Digital Screens?
If you are spending a lot of time on the smartphone, computer, Laptop, Tablet, TV, or any digital screen. From waking up in the morning to going to sleep at night, everyone is busy on digital screens. Almost every child to adults uses them for several purposes. These devices are now a part of our life. It’s hard to think of life without these digital devices.

Continuous use of these for a long time affects your eyes, the radiation which comes from these devices may damage your eyes. You never think about it, once it affects the eyes, you get worried about it. Staring at a digital screen for long can result in blurry vision, redness, eye strain, and other related problems.
It is better to take care of the eyes before serious problems. This article tells you to protect your eyes from digital screens, there’s no reason not to try them.
Use Plain-Eyeglasses
The use of plain eyeglasses can be the first step towards protection against digital eye strain. Use plain glasses when you need to work for more hours on computer screens, smartphones,s or other screens to minimize eye strain.
Blink your Eyes
Remember, blink your eyes in between watching TV or using any digital device. It will lubricate your eyes. Blink often to refresh your eyes.
Clean your eyes with water

Splash fresh and clean water on your eyes after you wake up in the morning, make sure that water is clean and at the normal temperature. Provide warmness by the palm: Whenever, you working on your computer, viewing your mobile phone, or watching TV do it.
Rub your palm together, until they feel a little warm cup them, and now close your eyes and place them over your eyes for 10 -15 seconds, do this 2 - 3 times.
Apply Rosewater frequently
Rosewater is very good for the eyes, apply it twice every day, once in the morning and once in the evening. The use of digital screen produces radiations, which produces the heat in the eyes. Rosewater having cooling and curative properties which help the eyes from burning sensation.
Exercise for eyes
Do these eye exercise every morning and evening you can do them in between your working hours also. Roll your eyes upwards and then roll them downwards. Up-down, up-down repeat 5 times.
Similarly, do it for the right and left side 5 times without rotating your neck. Then, do eyeball rotations, rotate them 5 times clockwise and then 5 times in the anti-clockwise direction. After that close your eyes and relax and do warm palming once more.
Regular eye checkups
Regular eye exams reduce the chances of major problems. Consult your doctor if you have any problems like headache, blurred vision, dry eyes, neck and shoulder pain. If found any, it can be treated easily in the early stages. This you can minimize problems and protect your eyes from damages.
Do better display setting
Adjust the text size and contrast for comfort, especially when reading or composing long documents. Use proper lighting and avoid the use of screens in darkness. Usually, black print on a white background is the best combination for comfort.
Follow some display measures
Follow proper posture and maintain quiet distance when using digital screens. Maintain a distance of at least 10 feet while watching TV. Do not use smartphones and computers close to your eyes. Maintain display brightness such that it prevents eyes from burning sensation.
Rest with cucumber slices

In the evening cut two slices of cucumber and place them over your eyelids. Stay lying down for 10 minutes with these slices this will help you and cool your eyes. Remember, our eyes are sensitive to heat from screens try to keep them cool.
Give rest to your Eyes
Resting for eyes Give your eyes a much-deserved break from working hard while constantly focusing on nearby objects or a flashing screen. After every few minutes, rest for about a few seconds in which you look at the object at least 20 feet away. Seeing objects from a distance reduces eye strain.
Follow a Balanced Diet
Eye health depends on the food you eat. Take foods rich in vitamin A, which enhances eyesight and helps the eye to adjust to different conditions. Omega 3 fatty acids, nutrients like zinc, and vitamins C and E.

Green leafy vegetables like spinach, sweet potatoes, carrots. Orange-colored fruits, fish, eggs, almonds, peanuts, dark brown and peanuts, and other non-vegetarian protein sources.
Your eyes are a very important part of life. So, along with the use of these screens, try to protect them from their side-effect and stay healthy.
