Ingredients
¾ cup flattened rice / Red flattened rice preferably
1½ Liter Milk whole milk preferably
½ cup Sugar
¼ cup Sweetened Condensed Milk (Milk Maid)
2 tsp Ghee (Clarified butter)
15 nos Almonds
3 tbsp Cashews
¼ tsp Cardamom Powder
Instructions
15 minutes in boiling water to soak the almonds (alternatively you can also soak the almonds overnight in the normal water)
Remove each almond's skin after 15 minutes.
Add 2 tablespoons of milk to the mixer jar along with the almonds. Make a paste by giving a pulse.
Flattened rice should be ground.
The heavy pan should be heated. Ghee is added in 1 tsp. Add red flattened rice and cook for 2 minutes on low to medium heat.
Give a few pulses to the roasted flattened rice in the mixer jar. Make a coarse powder out of it.
Pour 1.5 liters of milk into a pan with a sturdy bottom. The milk is heated to a boil.
Add the powdered flattened rice and mix thoroughly to ensure there are no lumps when the milk begins to boil. Give the flattened rice powder two minutes to simmer in the milk.
After that, combine sugar and almond paste thoroughly.
Condensed milk and cardamom powder should now be added. Good stirring Turn off the flame after five minutes of low heat.
