      Bleeding from the vagina every month when a woman comes of age is called menstruation. Menstruation usually starts when the girl is 12-13 years old. Sometimes it can even start earlier. Each month an egg matures and comes out of the ovary. The first menstrual period is an important part of any girl's life. If the girl does not know about it, she may be scared. Therefore, it is the responsibility of every mother to explain to her about menstruation. Without proper information, many misconceptions can arise in a girl's mind, affecting her physical and mental life. Remedy for menstrual problems

      Relax if needed. If the stomach hurts, shake the abdomen with hot water in a plastic bottle or by dipping a towel in hot water. Gently rub and massage the abdomen. Drink plenty of water, reduce the use of oily and salty foods. Exercise walking. Walk around while walking. Exercise to the best of your ability; asanas and pranayama also reduce pain. Do regular work but do not do heavy work. Take a warm bath twice a day. Use loose, cotton, and comfortable clothing. Doing yoga reduces menstruation to some extent. If the above remedies do not make any difference and cause unbearable pain, consult a doctor but not take any pills from a chemist.

 

Diet to be taken during menstruation

      During this period, you should take vitamin A, C, calcium-rich and iron-rich foods. Lower backbones need calcium and iron to gain strength, so include black gram, dal, red rice, sesame seeds, eggs, and sugarcane leaves in the diet. Green leafy vegetables, milk, bananas, available fruits, and foods should be included in the diet. Spinach, potato leaves are good for blood clots; drink plenty of water. The most important thing is not to go to bed hungry. The secret to a painless menstrual cycle is eating a light diet, eating a healthy diet, having a proper lifestyle, and regularly exercising. Avoid fried foods. Don't eat stale food. Eat fresh and nutritious food.
