‘More than 80% of traffic comes from the top ten search engines’.
You've probably read this statement many times, and it's true, at least on many websites.
So what about web texts? Is sending your site to them a waste of time?
Even though the directories usually do not provide a lot of traffic, they provide incoming links to your site which increases the popularity of its link, which is the most important thing used by search engines to rank websites.
When someone asks a search engine using the keyword associated with your site, the higher your site's link to thunder, the higher its chances of coming closer and closer to the results.
Navigating your website to web indexes will help you increase its visibility and attract more people from search engines.
However, you need a complete strategy to effectively manage your mailing list, or you will only lose your time and energy.
Is your site right?
You should not forget that references are not available to provide free links. Their goal is to provide their visitors with quality sites.
If you are looking for specific listing opportunities, you need a well-designed website that contains useful and practical content or offers useful resources.
Your site should also be complete without broken links or links to 'built' pages.
Some of the factors that can lead to a ban on your posts are: multiple ads (especially pop-ups and pop-under), automatic redirecting to another domain, and having similar content on other sites (for example: 'duplicate' sites companies provide contacts).
Preparing your listing details
Open your favorite text editor and write down the following details:
1) URL of your website.
2) The title of your website. Some references only accept official site name as title, others allow descriptive keywords, but usually adding too many keywords to your title is not acceptable.
Write 2-3 different topics according to these different rules.
3) description of your website. Write down what your site is about in a few sentences. Avoid captions, exclamations, excessive noise, and everything else that makes your description sound like an ad.
The description must be written by a third party. Avoid expressions such as ‘we give’, ‘we…’.
4) A set of search keywords related to your site. Separate keywords with commas, then write down the same set of keywords that are separated by spaces. Some indicators require the first format, others the second.
5) your full name and email address.
When you are done, save the document. By copying and pasting this information on the post form, you will save time and avoid mistakes.
Or you can use Clipboard Magic. This free software allows you to save multiple lines of data and download them to Windows Clipboard with the click of a mouse. It is really useful if you need to fill out many online forms with the same information.
Getting a list of documents
The next step is to get directions to where you can submit your site.
You can use the top links to get smaller and special directions

Yahoo
Spend some time deciding how each directory is organized and find the most relevant category for your site.
Submissions to the wrong category often result in rejection of your post.
Compile a list of all the references where you posted your site that shows your post date.
Verifying results
Not all directories send email to you when your site is listed.
You should occasionally visit your directory and search for your site title or URL.
Flag all the links where you find your site.
If your site is not listed within 2 months from the date of your first posting, you may try to resubmit it. My advice is not to post again.
You can also contact the directory owner and ask about the status of the post, but if you do not receive a reply, do not object. There may be many reasons why the directory does not register your site, just accept the fact that not all posts are successful.
Moving your site to web indexes is an important part of your website development strategy.
It is a time-consuming task, but with good planning you will be able to manage it successfully.
