How to make Unicorn at home from paper
Unicorns!!! Guess what a unicorn is and what it looks like??. In the early age of history, Unicorn was a mythological animal in which everyone believed. The Unicorn looks like a horse or a goat, and as its name is, it is a single-horned animal on its forehead. As it’s a mythological animal with magical powers and heals sickness, children would now be more attracted to playing with Unicorns.
But where do we get unicorns now ?? Do we have to go back to history??. Don’t worry, let’s make it simple now. Here is a simple process to make unicorns with paper. Yes, you heard it right; they can be made at home with simple stationery items. So let’s start driving the kids into the fantasy world of unicorns.
Materials Required for Paper Unicorn making:
1. A4 size Colour papers of your choice
2. A pair of Scissors
3. A Glue-stick
4. A box of Colour pencils
5. A black marker
6. Two black beads.
Procedure :
How to make Paper Unicorn
1. Take one A4-size color paper of your choice, fold it into half, and cut it into two pieces. Then take one piece and fold it in concertina mode throughout the paper.
2. Then repeat the same concertina method and make three more such pieces. The color of the papers can be of your choice.
3. After this, attach all the five pieces one after the other, take a part of the paper, join the end of the first paper to the starting of the second paper with glue, and at last make it in a circular shape joining all lots.
4. Take a different color paper and cut it into a small circular shape of 2 or 3 cm radius. Let’s take the circular-shaped color paper of 3 cm radius and glue it in the middle to the body of the Unicorn.
5. Take another color paper, cut it into a round shape as mentioned in the step above, and mark lines on it like a snail with a pencil or marker.
6. Later, cut the snail-shaped color papers circular, quill it like tiny flowers, and put glue at the end to make it stiff. The little paper flower is ready.
7. Take different colored papers and repeat steps 5 and 6 in the procedure mentioned to make more tiny flowers for decor.
8. Take a while paper of A4 size and draw a bighorn and two ears for the Unicorn and color it with your favorite colors and finally cut them in their shapes accordingly.
9. Now it’s an exciting stage of paper unicorn making, as we are attaching all parts to see the fascinating Unicorn. Please take all the tiny paper flowers and attach them near the head of the Unicorn.
10. At last, place the bighorn at the center of the head and glue it and similarly glue the two ears at 45 degrees on either side of the bighorn.
11. Now, let’s make the Unicorn see the world with its eyes. Place the two black beads on either corner of the small circular paper attached at the centre.12. Finally, let’s move and ride on the Unicorn in the fantasy world and enjoy. Paper unicorns have finally made a shape, and children would be super excited to make and play with these colorful, magical unicorns.
