Head over to Quora and type in “How to make quick money online?” A whole truckload of search results will appear. Many people are desperate to make money on the Internet and fast! Make money online videos attract thousands of views, and people won’t stop searching for quick ways of making money online. At one point, I was one of those people until I realized that you could make quick money online, but you have to make slow money first.
The Aha! Moment
After years and years of searching for gunshot money-making ideas on the Internet, you will eventually reach a point where you experience an epiphany! You can make fast money online, but you have to make slow money first. It sounds strange to most people that are new to making money online. However, this is the stark reality. Making $10,000 in your first month is rare; it is possible, but it’s super rare.
All the affiliate marketers, top writers, and course sellers didn’t just wake up one morning and start receiving checks in the mail. It took a while; some people accelerate the process by working extra hard and working 100 hours per week to complete tasks in a short period of time. However, most people don’t do that; most people work for a few years before they start seeing real results.
Slow Money
There are many ways to make money online, most of the methods are slow and tedious, and you won’t start making lots of money quickly; you need to exercise some patience here. It is a bitter pill to swallow but wait! Just wait! You can totally speed up the process, and here’s how.
How to Make Quick Money on the Internet
In my opinion, there are two ways to make fast money online, not thousands overnight but some money to get the ball rolling. First up, I would suggest freelancing; most people don’t even want to see the word freelancing because it sounds like too much work. Searching for clients online and sitting down for hours writing content or creating designs for a client who is only prepared to pay peanuts for your hard work, time, and effort.
Hear me out, you just need one client who pays well to start the ball rolling. You don’t need 20 clients who pay peanuts, you need one client, especially if you are just starting out on this journey.
I got my first ever client on Upwork years ago before it was even called Upwork, and he is one of my highest paying clients to this day. I outsource most of the work now, but he is still around. Many people bash Upwork, it has a bad reputation, but I still think it’s a good place for freelancers to start. I don’t work on Upwork anymore, but my sister makes more than $20,000 per month on there, so put that in your pipe and smoke it!
You might not make $20,000 per month right off the bat, but you can certainly make a decent amount of money in your first month if you create a good portfolio and you learn to pitch correctly. Most people want a step-by-step guide and refuse to get in there and learn by doing the work.
The truth is, step-by-step guides help, but the true juice comes from getting on with it; stop complaining, and just do it. You might not get paid thousands for your first piece of work; however, keep working, build up your reviews, and eventually, you will get clients begging you to work with them. True stories!
More Fast Money
Sell stuff on eBay or Facebook marketplace. Gary Vee really inspires me when he does his garage sale challenges. There is honestly so much money to be made selling random stuff on eBay and Facebook marketplace. It’s not dead! You won’t make millions overnight, but you can start making quite quickly if you pick the right items. I don’t do it anymore, but before I came to Ghana, I sold vintage cameras on eBay, and I made more than $10,000 profit in about eight weeks.
If you really want to make quick money on the Internet, you need to make slow money first and what I mean by that is, you need to make a few dollars here and there, build your confidence and then keep going. So, there we have it! Freelancing and selling random items online, I know many people that don’t want to do all that; they just want to make “passive income.” Sit on the beach while the money rolls into their bank account every five seconds. Well, newsflash! It is possible, but it’s not an overnight thing.
If you want to build a passive income, you need to get some money in your hand first because most passive income streams require some investment to start. Affiliate marketing, for example, you can get lots of free traffic, but the big bucks start rolling in when you do pay ads, and those can get expensive if you don’t know what you are doing. The best method is to outsource everything.
Do a 30 Day Challenge
When it comes to content creation, consistency is key; we all know that. In fact, it’s getting boring now. However, if you want to speed up the money train, you need to set up a 30-day challenge. For example, if you create content on Medium, pump up the volume of your content by doing a 30-day writing challenge.
The same goes for YouTube and Pinterest content creation. Create and publish one piece of content every day for 30 days. Doing this will accelerate the process, and you will start making money faster than if you were to write one piece of content every few weeks
