While there is no sure way to get rich without working, but there are some sure ways to raise funds for yourself with little, or no effort on your part. If you have some money to invest, or are willing to put some effort into your next money making endeavor, you will have a much better chance of making consistent money without a traditional job. 1) Making Money In Non- Traditional Ways
• Rent out a room in your house. If you have a room, or rooms that are not in use in your home, consider furnishing and renting them out. If you do, be sure to follow the rules for landlords in your local area regarding rent levels, amenities, and the like. Doing this allows you to collect a large check each month without doing any work other than preparing the room for occupancy.
2) Make Money Online
• Start a website or blog. If your site becomes popular and gets a lot of traffic, you can make a lot of money by selling ad space. If writing isn't your hobby, you can also create video content.
• If you're interested in doing more traditional work, then you can earn money online by becoming a freelance writer or virtual assistant. Try searching online for job boards that are dedicated to freelance, or telecommuting work.
3) Earn Royalties
• If you're willing to put in a lot of works upfront for long-term payoffs, you might consider applying yourself to writing a book, songs, or inventing a product. Your chances of hitting it are small, but if your creation becomes popular, you can make income from your work without doing anything else.
• It is also possible to buy rights to existing royalties at auction, but you should make sure to do through research to ensure it will be worth the investment.
4) Get Paid For Short Term Jobs
• Participate in mock juries or focus groups. Some of these may require you to appear in person, but others can be done online. You get paid to listen to presentations and share your thoughts.
• Online surveys are a quick and easy way to earn some money according, to your work. There are many companies that offer paid surveys, including Survey Savvy and Survey Spot.
• If you like surfing the web, you might enjoy testing new websites and get paid to share your opinion. Sites like UserTesting.com offer many opportunities.
• If you love to shop and eat at restaurants, then mystery shopping is a great option for you. All you have to do is repeat business, act like a normal customer, and then share some details about your experience with the company. Depending on the job, you may get paid, or you may receive free goods or services from the business. You can search for opportunities through individual businesses, or search listings through organizations such as the Mystery Shopper Association.
5) Sell Stuff
• If you are willing to put some effort into buying items for sale, you can make a lot of money by buying and selling. The secret is to find bargains at places like flea markets, garage sales, and secondhand stores, and then sell the items for more online. This works well for items like books, which are relatively easy to store and ship.
• If selling online is not for you, hold a garage sale, or look for sales at flea markets and craft fairs in your area.
6) Beg Or Panhandle
When all else fails, you always have the option of asking for money. If you do this, you'll probably want to do it on a busy street or some other safe public place that gets a lot of pedestrians or car traffic.
