This is a guide for people who want to start earning money online on the internet, no previous experience required! And if you are wondering about how it works then please read this article before continuing.
How do I earn money online?
And I like talking about making money online and I am not going to tell you what kind of video content I will be posting today since there are several ways you could monetize your YouTube channel.
Let me answer that question with some facts…
1. You can monetize your current videos by charging an advertising fee
In order to monetize a YouTube channel the creator has to pay fees that keep his/her channel in line with Google Adsense and other factors.
Some examples of such fees that you could charge are;
You can charge between 0.99 USD per 1K followers to up to 8K followers or 1000 videos. If you have the time to produce more than 2000 videos you could charge as low as $0.05 dollars per view. There’s also something called Pay Per Click (PPC) since any kind of payment goes through it. It is the lowest cost of revenue that the advertiser pays for their work.
If you don’t have the budget to publish thousands of videos just charge you up to $5 dollars on average for every month. However, you could probably go to $25 once you reach over 3,500 followers per month.
2. Become a Vlogger
Becoming a Viral channel makes the most out of your earnings, especially if you post consistently. In fact, earning a ton of money off YouTube can sometimes become overwhelming, as things don’t just happen. They take time. So instead of thinking about all the hard work you have done to gain a decent following and now it just starts flowing.
To get started you should get creative and try adding vlogging to your channels. The best thing would be to add tutorials or guides on youtube where you’ll walk away with a lot of tips on your side, so that you can get even more out of your videos.
That way, you never need to invest a lot of money into creating new content. You’ll only have to upload one regular video per week or two to earn a decent amount each month and you’ll get back all the time you put in for your channel.
3. Use your Instagram Story to promote your YouTube Channel
You can use instagram stories to promote your YouTube channel, but I prefer using my Youtube channel to post on Instagram. Why because, Instagram posts tend to get seen 2-3 times and they are usually ignored. Most of them get deleted within 24 hours, so only you and your followers will see your videos. But, when your YouTube channel publishes daily you’ll end up having 300k+ subscribers and all of them can see your videos all at once.
So to make sure that you don’t miss that opportunity you can send the videos to Facebook groups for fans to binge watch. Then send that post to Twitter where everyone will see your YouTube videos, so you can easily share and sell your videos.
And to make things even better, you could combine both platforms. That way, when someone spends time watching both channels they can access them simultaneously and see all of your videos while they were still producing them. Plus, you could even send your videos directly via email to customers or potential investors.
4. Sell Fan Art
Although this might sound strange to many people it actually makes sense. When companies and people want to show appreciation, they don’t want your artwork that represents them to look good on banners or print ads in magazines. Instead, this artwork needs to represent a company or event that the customer loved and wanted to share, so the company or person behind it wants to promote a special deal that was mentioned on social media.
To succeed in selling fan art, you should create videos about specific events or news, so that your supporters or followers could relate to your videos and they could even buy something related to the topic. Afterall, everybody loves free stuff, right?
So just think that if you want to make money online then you need to start making videos about whatever product, service, organization, etc. is popular in your niche. Start sharing your creations first, but wait until you have enough followers that you could upload them into either Instagram, Pinterest, Tik Tok, etc. and generate a large income. Once that happens then you can monetize your videos and increase your streams which ultimately increases your income.
There is a catch though, your videos may receive a huge traffic from YouTube, so you have to keep them fresh to avoid losing your audience. Also, remember that you have to give your viewers a reason why they should subscribe to your channel since some people do it for various reasons and would love your content and they wouldn’t want to click away on the link only to find out later that your videos got banned by a major platform.
That last point is important. If people start clicking away then you will lose your audience and nobody would ever be interested in visiting your channel again. Don’t let it happen.
When it comes to getting your videos approved on youtube, you have to take certain precautions. For example, you can always upload a video that shows what you learned during your research process. Remember, it is impossible to know everything and you cannot be 100% accurate about your own knowledge.
So always remember that no matter what you put out there, it’ll be used as reference points or ideas by others and now you will have a chance to make money with that.
