Idiyappam - Mutton paya
Ingredients required to make Idiyappam:
Rice flour – 2 cups
Salt – required quantity
Hot water
How to Cook:
In a large pan, combine rice flour and salt. Slowly add boiling water while stirring. When the rice flour is thoroughly combined, add water.
Next, fill the mould with a tiny bit of dough, press it into the Idiappa plate, and cook it in an idli pan or stove for ten minutes.
Tasty Idiyappam is prepared.
To make mutton paya, you'll need:
Goat Leg: Four
Salt: necessary amount
Half a spoonful of turmeric powder
Half a spoonful of chili powder
Two tablespoons of oil
Band 1
Two cloves
One cardamom
Three onions, finely chopped
Two chopped green chilies
Curry leaves: many
Tbsp of ginger-garlic paste
Two tomatoes, finely sliced
Half a spoonful of turmeric powder
Two teaspoon of chili powder
Half a spoon, or taniya powder
Half a spoonful of cumin powder
Coriander leaves: a small amount
Pulverize the masala paste.
Anise: one-half spoonful
A spoon, of Kasa Kasa.
Coconut grated, half a cup
How to Cook:
Give the mutton leg portions a thorough wash and cleaning. For ten minutes, add salt, chili powder, and turmeric powder.
Grate the coconut, add the necessary amount of water to a mixer, add the aniseed and kasa kasa, and crush the ingredients into a paste to make masala paste.
After that, add oil to the stove and season with cardamom, cloves, and bark.
Curry leaves, onions, and green chilies should be added.
Add the tomatoes and ginger-garlic paste and continue to cook until the onion is half done.
Add the ground coconut paste, turmeric powder, and chili powder once the tomatoes have cooked through.
Stir in the mutton leg pieces after adding them.
Add a small amount of salt, cumin, coriander, and water as needed, then cook until there are fifteen whistles.
Finally sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and serve.
