How to make health mix pancake

Although Sathu Maavu is typically used to make porridge, I wanted to attempt alternatives that kids would like, hence these nutritious pancakes.

 

These pancakes are healthful since they don't use white sugar, white flour, or even much baking soda. For the sake of simplicity, I did not add baking powder in this recipe. Try out and enjoy this dish, which uses wheat flour instead of eggs. If your children dislike porridge, you should try this immediately.

Milk: Use only boiled, cooled milk; never use raw milk. You can use any milk; I used cow's milk.

I used cane sugar, but you could also use brown sugar, coconut sugar, or standard white sugar in its place.

Baking Soda - A very small amount of baking soda is added. Baking soda aids in the softening and porous texture of the pancakes.

Butter: Butter is added to pancakes to make them less sticky and to enhance flavor.

a half-cup of whole wheat flour

One-half cup sathu maav

Baking soda, 1/4 teaspoon

3–4 teaspoons cane sugar

2 tablespoons of butter and a dash of salt for frying

1 cup of boiled and chilled milk

34 cup of water Adapt based on the consistency

Instructions

Add 1/2 cup wheat flour, 1/2 cup health mix, 4 tablespoons cane sugar, 1 tablespoon butter, a pinch of salt, and 1/4 tablespoon baking soda to a mixing bowl.

First, thoroughly blend this with a whisk.

Add 1 cup of milk to it now.

To get a thick batter, whisk thoroughly.

Little by little, add water.

Avoid any lumps by thoroughly whisking.

Water should be adjusted so that the batter flows smoothly without any lumps.

Look at the slightly thick but flowing consistency.

I measured out 1/3 cup and scooped.batter is removed. Any deep curved ladle will do for this.

Check the dosa tawa's temperature by sprinkling water on it. When bubbles start to form and a soft shh sound is heard, the dosa tawa is ready. Butter should be lightly applied on the tawa.

Pour, but don't spread, onto the heated dosa tawa. Diminish the flame.

There will start to be bubbles.

The bubbles are visible.

Cook under cover for 1-2 minutes, or until the surface appears done.

Flip over and open. Cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.

Your nutritious pancakes are ready when you flip them over!

Pancakes made with health mix are ready.
