Hi guys,
I have written a short article specially for teenagers of the covid era.
2020 and 2021 have been sad and devastating years for so many of us. The pictures we saw during the second wave of covid were heartbreaking for all of us. More than that, excessive news and videos broke us from inside. There was not a single day when the sad news was not coming on our what's app. Whenever a phone used to ring at some unusual time, our heart used to skip a beat.
The students were less stressed though they had traditional schools and colleges compared to students trying their best to get used to online classes. Though teachers, schools, and colleges are trying to give their best in the online format, students are still demotivated for many reasons.
The first reason is the hopelessness and fear of not going back to school and college anytime soon.
The school events, college festivals, Sports festivals are designed to keep the students engaged in extracurricular but also helps the students in their 360-degree mental growth. When students participate in a competition, they win or lose. When they win, they want to win again and keep the momentum going, and when they fail, they start preparing again for the victory.
Anyways, there is so much to write about what went wrong due to covid, but we can try what to do to make life better during the lockdown and when you know things are not going to get better any soon.
Healthy food and little exercise
Despite getting bad news every day, we showed some outstanding courage and fought very well to come out of that phase.
This is the most important thing to keep your body healthy. Eat less and take a balanced diet. Too much junk and very less physical activity make you more irritated. Try to have a very healthy diet and make sure you take a sound sleep of 7 to 8 hours.
No matter how busy you are or how bad your day was, do not miss 30 minutes of light or moderate exercise. You can brisk walk, dance, do yoga or do a little run on your terrace but challenge yourself every day. Try to burn a minimum of 500 calories by exercise. Burning calories not only makes your body feel fresh but also helps to grow your brain cells.
Try to wear a healthy watch and challenge yourself every day.
Avoid too much use of social media
.Social media is the most powerful tool of communication these days, but excessive of anything leads to another disaster. And better we realize this early that its a pandemic that is already here, which has become one of the main reasons for depression and stress these days among the young generation.
Choose a creative way to engage yourself
.God has given at least one superpower to every one of us. It's just that we need to figure out that hidden super talent and try to take it out.
You like photography, take your mobile camera, click and write the story behind it.
You like to write poems, take out the pen and paper today, and start writing poetry no matter how bad you write. You like doodling, draw whatever you want, don't think about what others will feel about it.
